Particularly delighted to have had Lauren managing the sale of our property , very professional, knowledgeable and focused as well as being a simply lovely person. Guided us through our offers with confidence and was a great communicator. Conveyancing generally is often quieter and slower but we found Innes and Dawn a great support at a couple of ‘wobbly’ times. Steered everything through and moved things along when they felt it required it. Again very knowledgeable and reassuring at what is often an anxious time, glad we chose this firm .

My experience is ongoing, 4 weeks ago we placed an offer on a property which was accepted, our solicitor has been chasing innes and mckay weekly for formal written acceptance, now chasing daily, we are due to move in two weeks.I personally called innes and Mckay and was told this would be dealt with, still no communication, I have sent 2 emails no response. It defies logic that a buyer of a property can be treated in such a way, the seller who is probably blissfully unaware is their customer. I note that when you get a 1 star review you ask for the reviewer to contact you, tried to contact you 3 different ways and this is my 4th. *****5th way through Facebook, and guess what no communication......

I would not recommend this firm if you are buying a house. I cannot comment on their other services. We're lucky the seller's were so accommodating or else the house sale would have fallen through. Post sharing our awful experience with a work friend, we found out they used the same firm / solicitor as us and had the same experience. The service felt lax, lacking communication and unprofessional. When I complained, I was told it was 'normal process'. The seller's solicitor said the opposite. I'm not a solicitor but in the professional field I work, I'd be disciplined for what this firm says is 'normal'.

absolutely disgusted in this firm. they were my buyers solicitors and were uncooperative from the start with a "I will do what I want when I want attitude" . my poor solicitor had to chase them up for weeks with no response for a contract, then they started asking ridiculous questions which a good solicitor should already know, like why something wasn't done with planning permission through a government scheme when it wasn't a listed building etc. some of the questions were downright ridiculous and literally buying time! anyways to cut a long story short, 2 days before completion they send a email stating my client has decided to withdraw. ..no reason no nothing. I have never in my 43 years of buying and selling property ever dealt with such a firm. also to add the initial offer was littered with errors including the price offered and I won't deal with anyone using this firm again
