GoogleAsked Whitegates for a valuation on my property. Took all my details and told them my current tenant would arrange date and time. After agreeing a time they then cancelled. I phoned the office and they denied making the original appointment and said I could rearrange. Total wasters. Too much easy business. No wonder estate agents are one of the most disliked to deal with.

GoogleMyself and my partner recently brought a house through whitegates and they were great they were very helpful and professional. they were patient with a difficult vendor on occasion who was reluctant to move and we were pushing to move in they were also great in moving things along when they were taking taking to long. tom was great with my multiple phone calls having to ask them to move things along with the vendor. they also were very good on moving day making sure that everything was done fairly.

GoogleWe've recently purchased a house through Whitegates Ilkeston. Theses guys are very accommodating, they fitted us in for a house viewing at short notice and at a time that suited us. They were great at keeping us up to date with latest information regarding our house purchase. We can't fault them at all. Highly recommend them for buying/selling property despite this estate agents main focus being lettings.

GoogleDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Estate agents are pretty incompetent companies anyway, but Whitegates are on a totally different level! My father used them as the letting agent to rent out his property for 4 years while he moved abroad. Despite advertising they will ensure your property is returned in the same condition it was left in, this is a total lie we returned to a house that had been totally neglected! They dont ensure the tennants are doing basic things such as maintaining a good standard of cleanliness, they dont guarantee the rent if the tennant doesnt pay and they never get back to you or do anything they promise! Essentially you pay them to write a couple of reports every 6 months or so, although these reports are pretty useless they cant even ensure you hold the security deposit if damage has occurred!

GoogleBooked a valuation online, recieved an email confirming the valuation. Nobody turned up, i called and apparently the online booking tool doesnt even connect to the Whitegates diary so they knew nothing about it and couldnt send anyone else out on the day which we needed. Didnt fill me with confidence for them to sell my property, would the potential viewing enquiries go through to Whitegates....

Very unprofessional, called 1 minute after the viewing time to say there had been 'emergency' knowing the rental market is tough at the moment I opted to wait, 50 minutes later, didn't even have the keys the property, but did have the ones for a family member's back gate, helpful. Avoid if you value your time
