We can highly recommend Urban Property. The portfolio they completed on our home was beautiful and the turn around time was very quick. Our buyers told us they benefited from the walkaround video Urban provided. Their fees are very competitve and we liked the ethos Barbara and her team brought to selling our home. They were always keeping us informed with the progess of the sale. They always answered the phone the first time we called and there was always somebody willing to help. Would not even give a star if I could. We previously rented 32 Portobello Street. From day one we moved in and there was mould and damp in the house, they finally came for an inspection and there was 22 problems (all agreed with by urban property). We left the property early as the landlord agreed as there was so much work to do. (Smashed window, flooring, leaks from bathroom, mould patches all over the house) work was done by their 'handyman' who would come with his partner and cover things up, never actually got to the bottom of the properties. We finally got a damp assessment done on the property and turns out it was a big job and would be atleast £15,000 worth of work that will need doing as all external bricks need replacing. This work hasn't been done, I drove by and saw the handyman filling in the external holes - the handyman who isn't a specialist in anything. Full windows in all upper floor need replacing, house is constantly cold and stinks of damp and mold. Our little boy was constantly ill with chest infections and ear infections due to living in this house. When leaving the property we was stopped by the neighbours who said we was atleast the 12th family to leave due to the issues. The landlord doesn't want to do the work, only wants to patch over it and paint over it. So I would advise anyone to not rent this property!!!

My partner rented a property from these people and it really was the worst experience. We've asked for work to be done but nothing happens and as the lady i spoke to @Urban Property said they are paid by the landlord so they have to take their side when there's a dispute. Maybe good for landlords but not for us tenants.
