Morris Homes Boughton Grange Reservation
Reserving a property with Morris Homes on the Boughton Grange development was the single worst experience I have ever had with any company.3 words define Morris Homes as a company and their staff:- Rude- Uncaring- UnreasonableThey do not care about how they build their homes.Once they had my reservation deposit they ignored any queries and were overall uncooperative.During my reservation I highlighted numerous issues and damage to the property, which was extensive and even including but not limited to:- Holes in the interior/exterior walls- Dead grass because rubble was left under the turf- Peeling sealant- Badly cut flooring (which I paid extra for)When I highlighted issues with Morris Homes, I found that they will always tell you one thing in person, but then they will not bother to rectify any of their failings. The best I received was someone attempting to bodge damage with touchups and a trigger happy person with a sealant gun. They regularly informed me throughout that Morris Homes has a 2 year warranty so any problems I found would be better sorted once I had moved in. (Read the trustpilot reviews on how effective Morris Homes are in their warranty period). They also did not correctly follow their own site plans and drawings which I signed to when reserving. I recommend taking pictures of every document you sign in the sales office.I wish I had never I embarked on my Morris Homes journey of pure disappointment.

Donβt fall for the perfection of their show homes.
Very different from the show homes that you view, the finish of the painting and decorating is below standard. The kitchen fittings offered and fitted were full of faults, having to be replaced multiple times and still facing many problems with them over a year on. However they are refusing to fix these problems now. The stain free carpets are not as advertised, the flooring is full of bumps due to being sealed incorrectly. Creaking floor boards throughout the upstairs, faulty front door in the heat ( site manager advised to hose it down when the temperature is above 25 degrees π€·π»ββοΈ) multiple leaks in the house due to faulty seals of windows and doors, and roads are yet to be finished 5 years on from first starting the development.I can go on and on, but these are just a few of the problems we are facing as a new build owner.

Princes Meadows -Kirkham
Met with Hannah this morning and looked round the show homes on sites. Couldnβt fault the service! Very informative and patient with us. No pushy sales tactics and very transparent and gave us good insights into the options available to us and the plan for the rest of the development. THANK YOU!!

Donβt touch Morris Homes
Having purchased several new build properties from different builders in the past, I had no reservations about buying another. How wrong I was!Morris homes are a different kettle of fish altogether. We purchased our house almost 2.5 years ago and we are still unable to use the garden. We are still in dispute with Morris homes via the NHBC as our βgardenβ can only be described as a festering swamp resting upon a steep mountainside which also makes the house damp and the neighbours house damp. The builders left so much rubbish under our turf that you could feel it walking across the grass even with your shoes on.The house was just completely botched, their builders smashed exterior window frames with their scaffolding poles and all this time later, Morris homes are trying to fob us off with just painting over the damage. We still donβt have roads, just raised man holes and grids which damage our cars. We have to park 200m away from our driveway so our cars arenβt repeatedly damaged. Not ideal with two young children, one of whom is disabled and a blue badge holder.I could go on and on. Donβt believe the glossy brochures and show homes. The finish is shocking and nothing like you are promised.

Willows in Kineton
We visited The Willows in Kineton, and were shown around the show home and the 2 plots we were interested in by Geeta. She was very helpful and gave us all the time we needed. The site is very attractive, and Kineton has all amenities on your doorstep, and easy access to countryside

Greenlakes rise
Had a pleasant experience purchasing my Morris home , Nicky in sales was easy to deal with and answered all my questions . I expected a few problems as it is a new build but so far only little things that have been rectified quickly by the site agent ,Jonny ,no request was too much trouble , this makes your biggest purchase you ever make much easier and pleasurable . Every new house purchase will have faults regardless of the developer but if you have a good team working together to rectify any problems you are more likely to return and recommend the developer. I would purchase another Morris home if I was to move again

Morris homes .what can I say .not goodβ¦
Morris homes .what can I say .not good stuff thats a definite. Bought the property of the plan because of the nice plot .sold the dream and they took the money .at first started to do the snags .then passed over to customer care .what a joke not fit for purpose.emailed them regarding issues .just got an automated reply .then saying sorry about the delay .then it gets worse .started to build further homes at the rear of the property. Found out they bought the extra land and never informed any residents. We where all duped into buying the houses off plan of the site morris homes had different plans to build extra .totally kept in the dark .I would never buy another property from this company .stay well clear ..

Profit seeking company - same like all the others.
Profit seeking company - same like all the others.Sales people are well trained into selling you the dream but as soon as you move in the "customer care team" they will NOT care. You will be stuck for months waiting to have anything fixed/resolved and there will be many snags. They are playing on time! Since you have 2 year warranty they will delay contacting you and resolving matters.Expect cheap Chinese- made finish which will wear off or fall apart the moment you touch it. Leaks will be happening and constant water pressure problems. The appliances they fit are not good either. Washing machine will be gone in less than 2 years, the boiler will give constant problems and there will be no stainless steel finish - that's just the paint and it will come off in a few months. The garden will flood and it will be rough and uneven with all the rubble tight underneath the turf. The turf will not survive unless you invest a lot of product and effort into it. They have such a high staff turnover that even if you meet a reasonable person there, they don't tend to stick around for long.NHBC is entirely useless too as they are paid and maintained by developers. I would not buy from Morris again.

Unhelpful, generally unprofessional and difficult to deal with
Failure to maintain apartment building, customer service unhelpful, generally unprofessional and difficult to deal with. Quality of materials in luxury apartment were high, but installation was sloppy, rushed, and aftercare was poor. At one point a kitchen cupboard panel came loose and hit me on the head, as it had been poorly glued into place rather than fastened.Have had to bring in my own tradesmen to deal with issues, but it would be much nicer if a Residents' Management Company (RMC) was setup as the lease dictated, that way we'd never have to deal with Morris Homes again. If you're going to buy from Morris Homes, all you need to remember is this, it'll never get better than the buying experience.

We purchased a Malham in mid 2020
We purchased a Malham in mid 2020. Our experience has been extremely positive. Morris Homes have been very helpful all the way through our new home buying experience. They supported us from our first visit to the marketing suite, through the sale of our old property as well as after sales helping fix any snags. We have been impressed with the build quality and the layout suits our needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend purchasing a property from Morris Homes.

Good experience
The sales assistant was friendly, helpful and informative. The show homes were beautiful and the location is handy for transport links. Some of the units in the kitchen could have been fitted correctly, as they were not straight. However, this was purely cosmetic and did not detract from the house itself.

Buying our first home - Upton Dene
We bought our first home in December 2020 on the Upton Dene site.Karen in the sales office was very friendly and helpful throughout the buying process and always quick to respond to any queries that we had.Since moving in Barrie has looked after us and very quickly resolved any initial snags we had. He would always knock to keep us updated as to when people are coming in to the house to do the little jobs we asked and to check if it was appropriate and ok with ourselves.Really happy with our purchase, the buying process supported by Karen and also the immediate after care provided by Barrie.Thank you both! St. Mary's Park
We found our experience of buying a property through Morris Homes to be relatively stress free. We were very impressed with the level of service we were given from their staff, on site, especially, Jo and June, in the Sales Office. Nothing was too much trouble, they gave us excellent advice and were very obliging. Moving forward, Sean, their Site Agent, sorted out all our snagging issues quickly and too our satisfaction. Even the lads on-site were cheerful and always asking how things we were. Would certainly recommend Morris Homes.

Tarmac Problems
I moved into my Morris Homes property in summer 2019. Our tarmac driveway was surfaced about 2 months later. The tarmac was laid incorrectly by Morris' contractor and we have large hideous streaks of tar all over the surface, as well as holes. I complained to Morris Homes straightaway and they said it was "within tolerance".Around 6 months ago, Morris Homes attended to a problem at a neighbours property, in which they'd leaked oil and chemicals all over my driveway. I complained to Morris Homes and they sent someone out to clean it up. They used a pressure washer and as a result of improper use, they badly scarred the tarmac. I complained again and requested that Morris Homes resurface my driveway afresh given the streaks of tar, the holes and the now scarred appearance. They said no. They had my money when I moved in, before the tarmac was laid. Their attitude towards homeowners is disgraceful and I would not recommend them to anyone.
