GoogleNot good. Arrange viewing, saw the flat and liked it so I put a deposit down and hoped there would be no issues. 6 weeks later, the day before getting the keys they finally got the contract over demanding it be signed asap. I told them I wanted to ensure it was all in order and saw there was a rent review clause that could be invoked after 6 months so asked for it to be taken out as I was renting for 12 months and wanted to be sure the rent would be fixed for this period. They refused and then refused to give me my deposit back. Please be wary of paying a deposit with out knowing the T&Cs or they will take your money and you will not get it back. I'd avoid these people since there are other good agents in the area.NegativeQuality

Hull office has no idea how to manage the chain. Our purchase took twice as long as we expected and throughout we were in an information vacuum. Reeds Rains did not know enough about what was happening further up the chain and didn't attempt to find out. In the end we went over their heads and spoke to the next agent along, who did not have to speak to us at all but was far more knowledgeable and communicative.

Reeds Rains - Ilford, Cranbrook roadExtremely unpleasant to deal with. I had been calling every single day for a week regarding a rental property advertised to be told someone will call back. However no one ever did. I called yesterday complaining to Bernard, the branch manager emphasising the lack of customer service. He also told me he will call me back. To no surprise i did not get a call back. Called in to find more excuses and then was being told what and how to leave a review. I stated i wanted to complain and i was told to send the complain to the person i would be filing the complaint against! LoL! I have never come across such a counter intuitive demand before. DO NOT use these guys. They have such a disgusting attitude. Anyone wanting to rent out their property, do NOT use them. They do not care about whether your property needs to be rented out or not. This could very well have been a happy landlord whose property has been rented. However it is not the case due to this embarassing property agents and the manner in which they deal with customers. I will be taking this further to HR or MD. I am leaving review on every platform to raise awareness. Stay well away from these guys!
