We bought a property from Hanley Branch in Stoke On Trent and were promised that the property rubbish was cleared out and the the Brach Manager confirmed this.But the rubbish was left in the cellar and after numerous request to clear it was not dealt with.We do find this very unprofessional and now he is even stopped communicating !

TrustpilotRidiculous company policy.
Tried to arrange a viewing but as I work full time and can't take calls I could only converse over email, something which isn't an issue with other estate agents at all. Reedsrains wouldn't allow this so I can't even arrange a viewing. Absolutely ridiculous and they need to review their policy. Information given over email is much clearer than over the phone.

The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to arrange a visit that fitted in with our schedule.The process of selling the house was explained well to us.We were frequently contacted by members of the sales team, by phone and email, ensuring we were kept up to date as the sale developed. Any queries were dealt with and effectively promptly.

GoogleWell where do I start.I was only with them for a few months but was constantly up against it when I decided to leave the property. It took 5 months to finally get my deposit back with me having to get the correct information and make endless phone calls which for some reason was too difficult for reeds to do.The lack of compassion and professionalism from certain people and the missed relevant information from which I could easily find out but they apparently could not, made for very stressful times.It seems my tenancy was not classed as important enough to help me but everything was geared up for the Landlord. Thankfully the info that I obtained supported all my points and the deposit was returned along with compensation due to Reeds continual misinformation.

The service was apathetic. We did not receive the AST until about 2 days before we were due to move in (in December) having known we were moving in since August. The documents received contained errors and did not include pre-agreed terms. When we chased the response was always slow and unhelpful.

Very bad estate agents, not to be trusted. It took months and a threat of withholding rent to get a load of rubbish removed from back garden and loft. I was eager to finish my year with them, they then had the gall to with hold part of my deposit when leaving. I am in the midst of taking them to small claims. Beware

Reeds Rain, Didsbury have been absolute gem! I have had 2y+ experience with them and they have helped me as much as they can to find a property of my liking that suits my mortgage budget. It was a long journey but worth the wait. Everyone at RR are helpful, kind and thoughtful. I will definitely recommend RR and I will also be using them in the future, if need be. ILFORD BRANCHAmazing agents. I wasn't even their client for the house they were selling but the buyer. Yet Bernard put my faith back into agents after the experinces I have had. Very friendly, genuine and quick with information and updates. He helped me and gave me advice and was always there. Agents like Bernard need be valued! I appreciate his happiness for us when the deal went through and I wish him and the firm the best.

It appears that Reed Rains only care about making money, their staff are programmed with a script of what to say and they do not deviate and act like a human being. Their charges are extortionate and lock you in with so many terms and conditions that even the the most experienced Landlords can get stung. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!

Reeds Rains Grimsby were excellent! They weren’t even our agent!!! They were an agent for another property in the chain but Sophie was brilliant at communication with all the sellers and solicitors. Brilliant work at keeping the chain together. Would definitely recommend!

Head officeAs you will see Reeds Rains have replied to my comment, explaining that sales are taking longer than usual ! ! ! However, the problem is. They advise you to go with a certain buyer, take over a month to check all details and only after asking for many weeks what is happening. They finally confirm everything is “a go” This is not just the branch that are incompetent, it also comes from head office ! ! ! Six days ago they were full of apologies and confirmed on this site I would receive confirmation of my payment. Not such notification. The company is a TOTAL JOKE, UNPROFESSIONAL FROM HEAD OFFICE DOWN TO THE BRANCHES. ARLA will be informed along with the other “PROFESSIONAL BODIES” they claim to be with. Honestly, please please please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Highly recommend.We used Reeds Rains in Crossgates and the service was 100% throughout.Sarah who valued the 2 properties we were selling was professional, passionate and very knowledgable. She told us one property would end in sealed bids and exceed the valuation, it did.The Ladies in the Crossgates office were very polite and helpful. They kept us informed every step of the way and chased Solicitor’s etc up when we asked.I would not use anyone else in Crossgates
