GoogleWe used Martin Thornton (MT) for our house sale and the purchase of our new home. We had no plans to move until we came across our new home when having a random search on right move. We booked a viewing with MT to view our new home and knew this was the perfect next for us and it was the only reason we were planning on moving. We spoke to Ava about our plans to sell our property who discussed how the process worked and answered all our questions, we knew we’d be happy for MT to handle the sale of our property. Martin came out to view our property a few days later and to discuss what price to market the property. Martin’s knowledge and experience of the local housing market was pretty impressive and sealed the deal for us to proceed with selling our property with MT . Our sales negotiator was Bailie who was amazing thought out the whole process and provided us with an impeccable level of service managing both the sale of our property and purchase of our new home. Even when things got a little stressful or didn’t go to plan the whole of the MT staff were always available to help and support us through the whole process. I’d definitely recommend MT estate agents to anyone who’s looking to sell, buy or rent a property, you won’t be disappointed!

GoogleThe whole process was made exceptionally easy by this really friendly team. From the moment of the valuation visit I knew they were right for the job. Everything was explained clearly and I had real confidence which put my mind at ease given it was the sale of my mums house after she was moved into a care home.
Emails were always answered quickly, usually within a matter of minutes, which was great given I live over 90 miles away from the property being sold.
Could not recommend Martin Thornton and the team highly enough and would definitely use them again if I was selling a property in the Huddersfield area.

Stephen was the only agent who actively addressed negative as well as positive questions at the valuation, which impressed us. Bailie has been communicative and helpful throughout, both on the phone and by email, and Ava and other colleagues have always been friendly and helpful when he wasn't available. GoogleI can only heap praise on this agent as from day one they controlled the whole process of selling my house, they advertised well and kept me informed at all stages of the sale, Ava was very professional and knowledgeable in her role if there was an issue she did not know about there was no guesses she went away and found out the details required and brought it back to me, The sale of the house was not straight forward with issues from the past causing problems with the sale late in the process, Sam picked the problem up and took the time to research similar issues and bring a solution to the table.
