I have had the worst start to a relationship with Bramleys, my partner and I have just taken on a property, when we were looking at the property we had a couple of things which we asked to be done before we took on the house, of course the agent said that will not be a problem, since we have moved in, nothing we asked them to do a month ago has been done yet. The worst thing is that no one seems to be bothered at all. Moving is a stressful time and needs to be made easier by the agents, however we have been promised call backs that have not come. The particular agent we are dealing with has some of the worst people skills and customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Sometimes it’s necessary to apologise for something even if you feel it’s not your fault personally. If you are the person in charge you sometimes have to swallow your pride and politely apologise for issues, which may not seem critical to you, but when you’ve had a full month to get the place in order and have not followed up on things which could have easily been sorted, the fault then lies with you. Terrible start. FIX THIS BRAMLEYS.

A wonderful experience with Bethany (former sales negotiator) and thereafter Sammi at Bramleys in Huddersfield. Having dealt with a number of local agencies who sadly fell short of service expectations, both negotiators at Bramleys set a gold standard in terms of service, and responded in a timely manner to all of my enquiries. They went above and beyond in terms of communication and keeping myself and my solicitor in the loop with delays caused by both COVID-19 and Stamp Duty holiday(s). The service provided is professional with prompt response. I was given timely and prompt update whenever there was any update. Bramleys are always so professional and ensure that any problems or issues are carried out immediately. I’ve had a few issues with things at home such as boiler/ burglar alarm/ leaks since moving here in 2018 and they’ve sorted everything out so quickly. I recently had a major leak when a pipe split on the boiler and it flooded the whole house from the third floor to the ground floor, it blew the electrics on the second and first floor. Bramleys got everything done so quickly, new electrics, flooring, fixed the boiler, just waiting on the walls to be painted. You’ve been amazing at how quick you dealt with my nightmare, just before Christmas too!! Thank you again, highly recommended estate agent!PositiveValue

in reply to the post below, I did attend your property to value it. Before your wife joined us you showed me around the house that was in a part finished state. You stated you wanted to continue and extend further into the roof, but you had to persuade your wife as she was the one who would finance it. I stated that at the figure you gave me for the cost of the work it would make sense to do the work. Your wife then joined us and i did say it was difficult to give you an exact figure as there was still quite a bit of work to be done, your wife seemed exasperated by this and stated others had given you the figures, i stated until i knew exactly what you were going to do i couldn't place an exact figure on it. I then said that i would recommend finishing it and doing the extra work as the price you had supplied me with was relatively cheap, again your wife to exception to this and said it wasn't cheap! I explained compared to the increase in value it was cost effective, again she disagreed with the figure i gave you for the finished house, and said the other agents didn't think it would bring that price. At this point i said i would leave as your wife disagreed with everything i was advising so the meeting seemed pointless, she then stated she would leave, stormed out of your Kitchen and went in to the Lounge slamming the door behind her, leaving you and I in the Kitchen. You were clearly embarrassed and as i started to leave said you hadn't spoken to me in any wrong way and asked me to stay, i didn't ignore you I said it was pointless me staying and left your house. There seemed little point in staying as your wife clearly didn't agree with the advice i was giving and she obviously didn't want to do the work on the house you wanted to.

The number of times I've moved as an adult is definitely in double digits and I can honestly say I've not had an estate agents like Bramley's before. Helen has kept me well informed throughout the process and every member of the team I have communicated with has been friendly and helpful. They were incredibly thorough with the property and the information I received upon moving in was above and beyond. I feel very valued as a tenant and believe that any landlord should feel comfortable entrusting Bramley's to manage their property.

Having gone through fairly adverse personal circumstances I found myself i need of a property fairly quickly and as stress free as possible (if moving house is at all stress free) From the initial interest in the property bramleys were quick to assist me further and expand on my options moving forward. Following an online viewing I was put in contact with Honor, who I found to be pleasant, punctual and professional from the get go. The application process was a breeze and any queries I had were promptly answered, at no point did I feel left in the dark or lingering over what was happening; I really do commend the level of communication I received as this in itself was one of the biggest potential stresses for me. All the checks and paper work were completed within a week. I was met at the property by honor (I think) and signed the tenancy, did a property check and inventory ect, this was again a very welcoming and friendly exchange. Having had tedious complications with other estate agents in the past I was very satisfied and happy with how things went and can't speak highly enough of all staff I encountered. I look forward to continuing my tenancy with bramleys 🏠 🔑 😊

Been left in the dark wondering whether the property is now for let or whether my application was successful. Rang Bramleys to find out as it was over a week since I handed my application in to be told I have to ring back on Tues to speak to the rental team. I chose the rental team directory when calling to speak to this woman. Surely she could have simply looked up the property I gave her on the computer and given me anything, whether there were no new notes or not or whether it was now let or not. There's several properties I could have applied for in the meantime that have now gone off the market. When looking to rent properties in future I'll be sure to avoid Bramleys, no communication with them whatsoever. Very disappointed with their customer service.

The purchase of a new home is always a trying experience; however the sellers had chosen Bramleys estates agents to market and the sell their property. As an MD I was extremely sceptical at the input of estate agents based upon previous experiences! Bramleys were a complete revelation, they checked up on the process several times per month covering buyers, sellers and solicitors, and quite clearly knew the processes and procedures. Because of their efficiency and knowledge it was a smooth and trouble free process and the individuals concerned above all listened and the responded as required. A credit to their company and profession as I believe Bramleys "go above and beyond"
