Rang and arranged for evaluation. To begin with a member of staff from west kirby office arrived late. Then rather than give me the evaluation said he would let me know. 24 hours later ive heard nothing. By the way we are selling 2 houses at same time . I rang again and was told they would get back to me , which they didnt. My experience has been no communication and poor service and due to this jc have lost sale of two houses

Absolutely horrible! They show absolutely no care in the world for their tenants! They forget whay they speak to you, they ignore you, and they don't seem to want to respect their contracts. Just for reference, I reported some relatively easy to fix maintentance issues 2 months ago and they still haven't been solved. They are just the worst! Stay away from them if you value your sanity

I am writing this review as a potential purchaser of a house on their site, the house was setup on a “modern auction”, which is short for “estate agent gets a lot of money and everyone else involved either gets less or pays more”. However my feedback is not based on that it’s about the complete lack of transparency of the purchase process or aspect of it.. The property sale page mentions it being sold under “modern auction” and refers to T&C.. and that where it ends with a reference, I searched the site there is no mention of “modern auction” anywhere about from the page where it’s, not what this means including..When the sale isWhat the terms of the sale areLegal pack availability (if any)The cost of the process...Nothing zip zero.. lack of transparency... just a bit but here is the kicker we were told twice VERBALLY only. That the fee was £6k... ( this is on a house with a “guide price of 63k ) no details on whether this was including or excluding VAT. However since it not written down anywhere on the site It could be a arbitrary figure.The “modern auction” is a rip off at the best of times and is under investigation by trading standards, due to lack of transparency. However Jones and Chapman if you are reading this please not there is a huge difference between lack of transparency, and no transparency with no supporting information available on you primary sales portal.

Put house on the market and paid for the overpriced package.Signed contract , monies handed over then that was that. 3 viewings all carried out by me. I was promised an open house, booked a weekend away, never did i hear nor see sales man again once monies exchanged his words were " it's in our interest to find you somewhere to move to" , not even one contact , suggestion or follow up. Put in a complaint it was ignored. Took house off the market. Them some months later received a glossy brochure through the door with my house plastered all over the front as sold subject to terms. All my photos were on leaflet and these were distributed throughout the neighbourhood with no authorisation from me.They offered £50 , they breached their own contract.I didn't take the £50. I would not recommend them.

I put my house up for sale with Jones and chapman the sales rep valued it but I only got a sale less than £10,000 can’t say they were working for me they are working for the buyer I was asked to put ups ‘good’ review, sorry I can’t. After 4 months I’m still.angry that you got me to sell my property under the asking price 2 stars is actually too good for you

Absolutely disgrace they confirmed my viewing and I travel all the way in that hot weather and waited for about 45 minutes and one turn for when I phone them sorry that was misconomication !!!!!!!!and the other person said someone put his application what a joke unprofessional absolutely fuming not even one star.

We rented through the West Kirby office and were dealt with by a memberof staff here. Much of what she said when we looked around the property turned out to be untrue. For example, she said that the bathroom floor would be replaced before we moved in, but we moved in and there were bare, dangerous floorboards in the bathroom as they had not completed the work . We had to phone 3 or 4 times before this was sorted out. Throughout our tenancy we had a series of issues that were dealt with unprofessionally and incompetently by the staff in the West Kirby office. After our tenancy we had to use TDS to battle for our deposit back after Jones and Chapman fabricated claims for the deposit in order to satisfy the landlord. Throughout this the staff at the West Kirby office lied to us repeatedly, were underhand and disgustingly disorganised and unprofessional. None of the required paperwork was produced during our dispute through TDS. The manager at Sequence (the parent company of Jones and Chapman) says that this was because it wasn't done! I cannot get across to you how terrible the service was, and how rude and coniving the staff were. Friends of ours have also had problems with the company due to being lied to by staff in the West Kirby office. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I’d give no stars if I could. I tried to arrange a viewing but no-one returned my numerous voicemail messages or replied to e-mails. I then discovered that someone who works at the estate agent had put an offer in on the property. Maybe this is why they weren’t keen to contact me, despite the seller still wanting viewings to take place.

My 80 year old mother trusted these guys to help her with renting out a property that was her only source of income after my father died from dementia, absolutely disgusting, told my mother to "sort it out yourself"Wouldn't touch them with a a barge pole. dont go anywhere near them, absolutely putrid company :(

We were recommended a solicitor by J&C Heswall - who was based in Leeds ?? This solicitor was beyond useless and provided an appauling service resulting in unnecessary and unacceptable delays and expense. I found out that J&C received a commission in excess of £400 from this solicitor; perhaps this motivated J&C more than looking after their customers....

I actually dont know how they sell houses and I certainly wouldn't be asking them to sell mine! I messaged over one property my mate messaged and called over three. Thats four houses and they did not reply once shocking. My advice do not waste your time

So far not good at all. Do not let your property with Jones and Chapman. My Tenants moved in 2 weeks ago and I have still not received my rent! Every day on the phone, another excuse. Still nothing. Emails, another sorry and excuse.

the review wouldn't let me write all I wanted to about the West Kirby Office. So, in a nutshell, if you want to lose in everyway, avoid Jones Chapman at all cost, they really don't have a clue what they are doing.
