We had a very good experience from the beginning of our tenancy right through to the end. The whole team was always friendly, professional, and quick to respond whenever we had any questions or needed help. Special thanks to Steve and Ben, who were both incredibly helpful throughout. Always took the time to answer our questions, kept us updated, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted as quickly as possible. We really appreciate all the help and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive letting agency.

So much for those old jokes about…

So much for those old jokes about estate agents. Ben was brilliant from start to finish. Put himself out to squeeze in a visit to a property he was not expecting to have to show us at short notice. Of course that’s the one we bought. He shepherded us through the rest of the deal brilliantly - as the sale stalled he even chased a lackadaisical solicitor with charm and persuasion. A definite five stars !

Elliotts Estate Agents were so thorough…

Elliotts Estate Agents were so thorough at finding our tenant and made the whole process of letting so easy. In particular Steve went above and beyond in supplying everything I needed to know before the tenancy started and a year later when the tenancy finished. Now we are back using Elliotts for the sale of our apartment, everything is communicated well and very professionally. I would not look anywhere else when renting, buying or selling a property in Brighton and Hove.

Excellent support throughout my flat sale

I recently sold my flat in Hove through Elliots and had a very good experience, particularly given how challenging the market has been. Steve was very honest and realistic with his advice from the start, which I really appreciated. The property was marketed well and attracted genuine interest fairly quickly. Once a buyer was found, Ben was excellent in helping manage the process through to completion. Communication was always clear and prompt, and he did a great job keeping things moving when the usual bumps in the process appeared. Overall I felt well supported throughout the sale and I’m very grateful to Steve, Ben and the team at Elliots for their professionalism and persistence in getting the sale completed.

Flat Sale

This is now the third property that Elliotts Estate Agents have successfully sold for me, and once again they have been absolutely excellent from start to finish. This particular sale came with a number of obstacles and frustrating delays, with long periods of waiting that were completely outside of their control. Despite this, the team remained proactive, professional, and incredibly patient throughout. Communication was clear and consistent, and they did everything possible to keep the process moving. A special thank you to Ben, who was outstanding from start to finish. His dedication, persistence and calm approach made a real difference during some challenging moments. I would also like to thank Brian and Steve for their support and professionalism, it truly felt like a team effort. A genuine experience

Hi I have been looking for a place that I can call home I have started my search in February 2025 and from that date I might have had 10 viewings. I had one flat that failed through, essentially because of a state agency who honestly did not care too much about me, asking too many questions ( probably the ones that I should not have asked!) Then , I viewed a flat that I really like and Elliotts came along and their attitude was completely different of the other agents! Ben was very professional, explaining the process of buying a studio flat very carefully I recommend them 100%, I had the key before Christmas and yes, definitely, it would be the first people I contact again if needed more advice ! I can’t recommend Elliott’s Estate Agents highly enough, and especially Ben, who handled our sale with absolute professionalism from start to finish. What turned into a long and very trying process was made so much easier thanks to Ben’s persistence, patience and clear communication throughout. There were countless hurdles along the way, including changes and fall-outs within the chain, but Ben worked tirelessly to overcome every obstacle and, most importantly, to keep the chain together when it could easily have collapsed. We felt confident that we were in safe hands from the initial discussion with Brian when he came round to value our home. Brian was able to answer all our questions, explaining the rationale behind what he recommended. It was easy to agree an approach to marketing the property which fitted with his knowledge and our experience of the local area. After potential buyers had viewed the property, Elliotts checked the positions of those interested so that we could make informed decisions about accepting or rejecting offers. When we had agreed a buyer, Ben kept tabs on the progress of the sale, liaising with solicitors and the agents dealing with other properties in the chain. His colleagues in the office were also able to help when Ben was out of the office and the transaction came to a successful conclusion. We were very happy to have selected Elliotts as our agent.

Elliotts in Hove were fantastic . From the beginning they were so kind to my mum, who really felt listened to and was impressed, we didn't get that same level of service from other companies. My mum feels so lucky to get the property, one we initially dismissed (they were proactive and rang us to convince her to visit but not in a pushy way, they knew my mum better than me)! The purchase was an incredibly stressful time (not their fault, we were also selling a house and had a difficult chain). I have so much more respect for real estate agencies now, who have to juggle multiple roles on a daily basis, from admin to basically being a psychologist, conflict resoluter, miracle worker, all at the same time! Great Job Elliott’s in Hove

Selling a home particularly one that has so much emotional baggage attached is a very challenging time! Elliotts provided such an empathetic approach acknowledging that as the sale would be generating the cash required to keep Mum in a fantastic care home their goal was to value and achieve the best price.
