GoogleDisgusting treatment! Wish I could give zero stars! I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Roberts Hunt. From start to finish, the process was marred by incompetence and lack of professionalism. Firstly, communication was abysmal. It took multiple attempts to get a response to basic inquiries. In fact, I had to call them and chase them several times, and even then, the information provided was often inaccurate or vague. Furthermore, the agents seemed disinterested and unengaged throughout the entire process. It felt like they were just going through the motions, with no genuine concern for my needs or preferences. They showed little to no initiative in finding suitable solutions or even communicating clearly and accurately. To make matters worse, they left me in the dark for an entire week, which has now resulted in me losing out on a second property! Instead of coming back to me in a timely manner, giving me the option to revise my offer, they simply sent me the below email: “Further to the below, please be advised that the landlord of Barnway would like to thank you for your interest in the property but is not prepared to accept any less than the asking price. We wish you luck with finding a suitable home soon.” The tone of this email is rather rude and obnoxious, not even asking if I’d like to review my offer. It’s a very much 'go jump in the lake' attitude. I even called the branch immediately after receiving that email and spoke with Sylwia, who should not be dealing with the public as she has zero manners. She seems to think she told me this over the phone, when probably she is getting me mixed up with one of the other candidates. This was totally untrue and has never been communicated to me! I was more than happy to offer the asking price of just £95 more per month if it had been communicated - clearly something else is going on here. This agency demonstrated a shocking lack of attention to detail, leading to unnecessary complications and delays. It was clear that they are not experts at providing quality service to their clients. It's an absolute disgrace how they treat their customers like dirt. Overall, my experience with this agency was incredibly frustrating, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and incompetence make them entirely unsuitable for anyone looking to rent from them. I have never dealt with such a pathetic agency in my life.

GoogleRoberts Hunt are a life changer, the process that you go through purchasing/selling a house is stressful but these guys know how to handle everything and it makes you feel at ease! I was a first time shared ownership buyer, so it was daunting initially but James definitely helped me understand the process a lot more better. I went to the Bedfont/Feltham branch where Chris, Grace, Mikayla and most importantly, James have all been a pleasure to deal with. Throughout the barrage of emails/calls and questions that I had for them, especially James, there was never once a time where I felt like I was belittled for what I didn't know. If you don't know something, ask and they'll most definitely help! I moved into my new property last week and it wouldn't have been without James to constantly chase a third party company, we wouldn't have completed on the day if it were't for his persistence. If you're looking to buy, please don't hesitate with Roberts Hunt, especially with James and the team! They're professional, always answering emails/calls and always on the ball. GoogleMe and the family are very happy with the support that Roberts Hunt Estate Agents have given us. It all started with us purchasing our first shared ownership property, then it moved onto staircasing to 75%, and then 100%. After all this had happened, we decided to buy a new larger property and went with Roberts Hunt Estate Agents again. There are no words to explain how thankful we are for all the support and help that was supplied to us. Graham helped us with purchasing our properties, dealing with the mortgages, staircasing, lenders, insurance and much, much more. Any questions we had, he answered us straight away, even when he was away. GoogleA great family-run business. James managed the sale of our flat and Graham arranged the mortgage for our onward purchase and both were absolutely fantastic throughout the process. We bombarded Graham with lots of questions and he gave us lots of great advice. His experience and organisation meant our application only took a few days to be approved. James went above and beyond especially towards completion to make sure everything went through as quickly and smoothly as possible. All of which was very much appreciated. If we could give more stars we would.

GoogleAbsolute rubbish service, be super careful with their letting agreement, they took me for viewing the property with mould on wall and promised to fix it.i went through the referencing and paid the deposit as well, when I asked them how they treat the mould they start giving me stories that it been washed with chemical and redecorated, basically paint on top and in the contract try to hold me responsible if it comes back so when I made it clear that if the mould come back to the same area I won't be responsible for it. Next day they come back and said landlord wants the property back just 6 days before moving date and refunded my deposit. So be very careful because they just trying to do something very smelly, and don't contact them on phone just the email to keep it evidence because they keep changing their words
Following your negative review which appears to be a trend with your other reviews left, I am most disappointed to read this and sorry you felt the need to leave such a review. We go above and beyond to assist our landlord clients and tenants to ensure excellent relations with both. We have been trading for almost 30 years and our testimonials are a result of this. In response, our tenancy agreement has been drawn by a solicitor to protect you and our clients, in accordance with the law and our staff have been extremely co operative and responsive to your queries. I can assure you we do not ‘tell stories, we do not do something very smelly and we do not keep changing words’. We always confirm any conversations in writing/email so we have a trail for ourselves. We advised you ahead of you paying the holding deposit, the landlord had a contractor attend the property reporting on the issue caused by condensation from the previous tenant. Furthermore, we advised you, as responsible landlord, they had instructed a professional contractor to treat the affected areas and redecorate as necessary, ahead of you moving in. No one has said about ‘basically paint on top so you have wrongly made this assumption’. Extremely disappointing for you and us, having spent time and money in referencing you and preparing the tenancy paperwork, that 7 days before agreed tenancy commencement date, the landlords personal situation changed and they are unfortunately no longer able to let the property and it is likely the property will now be sold instead. Your holding deposit was returned in full immediately. I am confident we have acted and assisted you professionally and we wish you the best of luck with a new tenancy elsewhere.

GoogleShame I cannot give 0 stars. Kept my £250 deposit after I did not pass their "referencing" had to find a guarantor who earns over £68K even though I proved I earned the same amount. they do this probably with every house and to at least a dozen of people to earn more commission. We went to another agent and rented a house within 48 hours !! They probably do this with loads of people to keep their money. Shame a firm like this is benefiting from people's lives! it is fascinating how manipulative this company is. asking me over the phone if I had any outstanding CCJ's, which I DO NOT have. and then twist their words over the phone by saying: ''no we asked if you had, not have any''. also, the estate agent I rented from now did the checks within 48 hours for only £95!! Roberts & Hunt charged us £250,- and kept going forward and backwards for 10 days long. I do not recommend them and am awaiting response from our solicitor to take legal action. I will not rest my case till I get my money back. People please ignore their fake reviews and spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
Good Morning Mr Alsaidi. I am sorry to see your negative review. You both failed referencing in your own right because of undisclosed and incorrect information and despite this were still offered the tenancy with a guarantor. Your guarantor failed to provide the requested information to move forward and you were unable to provide an alternative. We advised you of the referencing process at the outset by a leading and reputable letting reference company, used to protect our clients and spent a lot of time working with you to try and find a solution which you were unable to meet the criteria for landlords insurance requirements. We have been trading for almost 30 years and I can assure you your accusations in your review are totally incorrect and the cost to us on the three referencing applications and our time spent in trying to assist you has no gain on us keeping your deposit. You were advised of the referencing process before you paid the deposit to secure the property over other interested parties. If you wish to discuss this further then I am happy to do so if you want to contact the office and I am sure your solicitor, if contacted, would advise you there is no legal case here, because of your failure to disclose at the outset and incorrect information. Good luck in your new home. In your further comments added to your review since our response yesterday. It has further inaccuracies and you were provided with copies of the referencing report detailing why you were not acceptable in your own right. I will not list these publicly, but if you wish to make an appointment to come in to discuss with management, we would be more than happy to see you to explain and try to help you understand. I can assure you there is not one single fake review on our google reviews, you are clearly a one off as you didnt get what you wanted, only as you didnt disclose all information and because your guarantor let you down, despite us spending time in trying to help and give you other options for the 10 days. I would add, the £250.00 holding deposit would have been credited against your first months rent had you referenced acceptable, resulting in no charges to you which you were also advised at the outset over the phone and in writing.

He & Chris helped educate me and my husband about the different mortgage options we had along with guiding us at every step of buying our first home. Their responsiveness was incredible. GoogleWhen my mother died, I as executor of her will had to put her bungalow up for sale. I asked neighbours in Bedfont about the appointment of an Estate Agent and who they would recommend. Roberts Hunt Estate Agents was by far the winner in recommendations received. The sale was managed by James Robert Hunt a member of the family business and the journey through the process was not uneventful but James kept us informed of the twists and turns and our options. There were occasions when James had to go well beyond being just an estate agent and he co-ordinated solicitors /buyers into keeping on track with the tasks that needed to be carried out. GoogleI want to thank Roberts Hunt Estate agents for their fantastic work in the past couple of months especially James, Grace and Maria. Initially, James came to see my home and explained in detail everything that needs to be done in order to get the property ready for the rental market. From the word go I felt that he is someone that I could work with. He is polite, understanding and extremely helpful. After the initial meetings James put me in touch with Grace who completed the process up to and including finding tenants for the property. I think I could honestly say without Grace I would have been lost! Grace is a true professional, she is easy to talk to easy to contact and with her everything is possible. She guided me through each stage from clearing the house to completing all the checks to signing contracts. To know that she is there to deal with any issues during the tenancy is a huge relief for me. Finally I would like to thank Maria who kept me going while Grace was away and for everything she did in order to finalise the renting of my home. Thank you all!
