This happened a few years ago. I enter my search criteria re a flat search repeatedly, and every day for maybe 3 weeks, I receive a huge number of emails for flats at a higher price. Am I doing something wrong. I seek a reply from On The Market?

On Android I can no longer put filters for parking and garden, it's impossible to expand a floor plan, prices are not in sequence but mixed. The site is appalling - and run by estate agents!!!!

I made an appointment with “Let Safe” to view a property the same day, I was running late as I was travelling via public transport and rang them up to let them know. I was 5 minutes late to the viewing and nobody was there. I knocked and rang the office only for them to inform me she had moved to her next appointment. I had travelled 40 minutes to this viewing, for them to not even wait 5 minutes even though I gave them notice I was late. If this is indicative of how they treat their tenants do not use them. In future if your agents are going to leave the property you should let the person know who is coming to view it or just wait longer than 5 minutes or just don’t book back to back appointments for your agents.

Have sent numerous rental applications with on the market. Then a few days later you receive a follow up email to call a number. The agent then every time doesn't know what your on about as they haven't received your application. Absolutely useless and a waist of time this company. Every single application I have made and there has been many has never reached the area agent. I'll never use this again.

Must I give them a star horrible so called management they do nothing the outside of the buildings look horrible paints peeling around the trim doors don't close right door knobs are loose key cylinders are falling out of door knob they can care less about the bylaws and contract don't bother complaining about anything illegal people excessive noise as soon as you get off the phone with them your conversation is history they won't do a damn thing I've been calling up since December about someone that's illegally staying in one of the units illegally causing a disturbance they haven't done anything it's a waste of time calling them but your wallet is on the mark every month for them to collect money I said enough I could write a book

Great portal and more user friendly than the other two imho. We get just as many leads from it as we used to from the other portals too. Good customer service. Just wish they’d advertise loads more so we get more leads from sales. Lettings is excellent.

They sent me and my wife a postal advert even though we are both on the MPS (Mailing Preference Service) and included our middle names, which feels creepy and invasive.

TrustpilotCompany supply ads that do not comply…
Company supply ads that do not comply with regulatory standards. The feedback button is positioned to be barely on screen and vanishes when the banner pops out, which it does every few seconds unprompted (presumably to avoid reports and drive false site traffic). If they can't even manage a banner ad without breaching industry standards, they should not be trusted with anything remotely sensitive or complex.

Without seeing the example you noticed an issue with it's hard for us to comment as we're not responsible for any of the links or buttons you see on an online ad, except for the ones connecting to our website e.g. the more information button. Time wasters. Called and the guy was talking from his bed probably on a toilet or brushing his teeth. Uninterested telling me he will get back, I knew by how he was talking that he will not. Today I called and was told the listing is unavailable but they can't remove it from their website due to a "technical issue". A bunch of time wasters.Avoid

Messy and misleading.We drove 1,5h too view the property to only discover that is for 12 months rent - add said min tenancy 12 months which is suggesting that the longer the better and this is what we ware looking for. A lovely man who was at the property shared that people are coming from much further places to also be shocked at the length of the contract cup! Imaginge driving all day to view peppery which you want to rent long term to find out that after a year you have to move out! What a waste of time, petrol and energy! And where are those private landlords? Adds about the site says is private landlords but there is 1 landlord per 200 agencies. What's the point using OTM?

I am warning anyone concerned about privacy, image rights, and lawful advertising, OnTheMarket refuses to remove photographs of your home even after you withdraw consent in writing, if you were not the person who created the listing.
Dear John, We understand your concerns regarding the photographs of the property in question. However, we must clarify that as you are not the vendor of this property you do not have a contractual right to request removal of the listing. The contractual arrangement for marketing this property is between the estate agency and the property’s vendor. We have been in contact with the appointed estate agency, who have confirmed they have a valid agreement with the property owner to market it. As a property advertising platform, OnTheMarket is not in a position to arbitrate disputes between third parties. We suggest speaking to the relevant estate agency. In situations where such disagreements arise, the appropriate course of action is to raise a formal complaint with the relevant legal bodies, in this case the CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) and the TPO (The Property Ombudsman), who can review the matter independently. Online valuation is a fraction of true price. Around 10% of property's actual value.According to your valuation, property has reduced in value by around £200k since purchased 8 years ago!And is now worth £37k. Really?!Cannot click on feedback button, hence the review.

The advert stated to get a valuation on line to give your details. The next day I started getting calls from all the estate agents in Sheffield, they had passed my information on instead of giving a valuation on line as stated. I could have phoned the agents myself but I didn't want that hassle, I will never use this company for any reason .

I was deceived into viewing a property that I seriously wanted. Offered to pay but was deceived to view other properties that weren’t what I wanted.Even if you want to treat people badly and shabbily, have the decency to be upright.Poor and very poor agent. The agent was so rude and all for what??? Very sad.

I've been trying to contact OnTheMarket about a problem I've been having with their website - it won't let me view the properties that I'd saved and plan to view this week!! I contacted them via FaceBook, but it's clearly just an automated message that they sent out in response, as it's totally irrelevant to the problem I'm having, and is exactly the same response as I had when I had a problem previously. Come on OnTheMarket, without people like me, you wouldn't have a job, so at least do the job you have properly!!

Put my house details into their valuation model and it came up with a value 50% below similar houses sold in my area. A complete waste of time. It then listed local agents to contact for a proper valuation. Presumably to get commission . A total con.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
