Agree with the people who had horrifying & terrible experience at the hands of Dexters that it should be reported to the Property Ombudsman. We have already started the process, the first of which is to write to their In house complaints department (It is called Customer Complaints Procedure, Given Dexters' standards we don't have much hope with this). If they do not resolve it in-house within the stipulated time then the next step is to take it to the Property Ombudsman.Their modus operandi is simple - now that they have got you signed, sealed and delivered you have to put up with whatever they throw at you. A house is a basic necessity of every human being and they are taking advantage of this very need.As posted by other people affected by Dexters, we'd like to reiterate the importance of checking every inch of the property and make sure all your concerns are addressed no matter how silly it appears (including checking with the neighbours about issues with previous tenants) because once you sign the contract they will keep throwing the rule book at you at every instance.Regarding the contract they keep chasing like clock work, if they had spent only about 10% of that time & effort in addressing customer needs every one involved would be in a happier situation.We have received a reply to our earlier post from their customer relations department to discuss this issue. We will try that as well.Will keep everyone updated about how the Customer Complaint Procedure progresses.
