In particular, my property manager, Nasra Said, has gone above and beyond the expectations to assist in solving the numerous problems that arise on a day to day basis, and performing timely updates when needed.If anyone is looking for a new estate agent / property manager, I would definitely recommend Dexters!

Original review: Excellent service. Very helpful. Super friendly. Highly recommended. Updated Review: I'm changing my review. Everything prior to moving into the house was great, but I've been in the house for 3 months now and the issues and repairs reported on day one still haven't been fixed. Dexters blame this on the landlord. I've been passed around to several different people and property managers, who don't seem to communicate with each other, losing information and asking me the same questions over and over again. So far I've wasted many many hours on sending emails and phone calls, sending photos and generally being messed around. The only excuse I've been given for this is that it's "out of their control if the landlord doesn't reply". I've even spoken with the previous tenant who also expressed their frustration with the landlord, but Dexters deny there is any problem and defend the landlord, despite the evidence. Highly unprofessional. Once these issues have been resolved, I would be happy to remove this section of the review.

We have been dealing with Jimmy Dhindra and wanted to let others know what they can expect, should they ever contact Dexters or Jimmy. Every contact we have had with Dexters has been a very professional one. Friendly with correct information and no long waiting times. Especially when dealing with Jimmy, he would always be upbeat and either call or mail back really quickly. He is consistently ready to help and flexible if needed. When he went on annual leave, he made sure we knew who was his temporary replacement and included them in mails way ahead of the start of his annual leave. It is a real pleasure doing business with him.

Really really bad agency

Really really bad agency, worst service ever encountered, especially the hyde park branch.it is always hard to contact them to get things fixed, or get any in-time reply. When we wanted to renew our contract they always pushed back either later or to someone else and then in the end we couldn't make it;Worst part is that they even ignored our deposit refund request (which should be naturally reasonably refunded), even though we check-out several days in advance + hired professional cleaning service they recommended. Again they pushed back to someone else or to the landlord, or to sometime later, anyway after one month we still haven't got our deposit refund back and there's no one taking care of this, they only care about their next tenant, once the deal is made they are just like "vanished", no service at all, completely mess, wouldn't recommend at all !

We have been renting properties managed by CJ Delamere who then turned into Dexters for nearly 8 years. We were never late with our rent and rarely made any demands on the landlords. However, the last time we moved out - they are trying to extract from us over £500 for cleaning a small unfurnished 3 bedroom house and £200+ for tidying the garden. A total of £700 for a small house with just some cleaning? It is now 2 months later - and they still have not repaid our deposit which was nearly £2K. All the house needed was a deep clean for the new tenants. So, make sure you protect your deposit - if not you will enter into a prolonged dispute and make sure to take photographs at the outset of all the damage to the property when you move in.

I’m Luke warm about my experience with Dexters. I was not impressed with the way they overvalued my property to entice me in. I had to keep on them to get through a cash sale that really should have been much more straight forward although the buyers solicitor was a nightmare. I didn’t really feel they represented my interests fully but they did get a sale in the end. Though it was well below asking price. At the end of the day I felt like just another seller on their conveyor belt

I have never dealt with such arrogant and obnoxious letting office. On Saturday 1/10 my partner and I viewed a flat we would liked to rent with one of their agent (she was lovely and showed us around very politely).Right after that we called their office to get a form and put an offer through. Besides the usual questions, I’ve been asked what the offer was, then without even sending us the form or present it to the landlord they told us to come back after the weekend with a better offer and to think about it since on a weekend nothing was going to happen. Moreover they said that the long term solution we were offering was fine and in line with thr landlord requirements but just to check and offer more.3/10Having not heard back from them as they told, we called the office again to have this form sent and we were asked (with arrogance) if we could afford the property or if we had savings (so far we’ve never been asked for those things for a letting).After this, they turn around saying the long term solution we were looking for wasn’t matching the landlord requirements and that they also had an offer above the asking price (so all of the conversation was either to just making us feeling uncomfortable or just a waste of our time). During all this awkward conversation we were uncomfortable and felt treated as if we were the poorest people on earth for them when all they need to do was just send a form and in case a credit check instead of treating people like this.I wouldn’t definitely rent with them or recommend them.
