Isabella at Chestertons in Fulham was fantastic as an agent to persevere in aiding us getting the property we wanted. Chestertons as a business was highly professional. Fantastic at communications and their portal really helped keep things on track right up to delivering the keys to the door.There is one small glitch for iphone user and Apple Macs in that it asks you for the postcode where you live/lived, which it then attempts to pre-fill your address. It was wrong on several occasions and could not overwrite but had to type blind as I could not see what I was writing as it was under a window with the incorrect addresses!

Excellent tenant experience with Sam

Simon Klacansky from the Lettings Department was great with my property search, even after deciding not to rent in the capital he still checked in and made sure I am on the path to securing the correct property for me. Thank you.I would say on the other hand however, his attitude did change upon me not wanting to proceed/ make an offer on the property. This would’ve made sense if I had offered and then pulled out or signed an agreement but I guess it just shows what the mask hides in the industry and I guess in this case, the mask dropped. It does make me sceptical to work with Chestertons again.

I recently contacted Chesterton’s with an enquiry into some properties and had the fortune to be dealt with by a young Lady called Millie. Millie went above and beyond in the quest to help with my enquiries and helped clarify to me, that I had made the right decision to go to Chestertons as my estate agent on this occasion and will most definitely now in the future. Efficient and helpful

Tamara Price at Chestertons South West lettings was incredibly helpful during the whole process. Despite the initial flat we were interested in going to another renter, she contacted me soon after with a similar flat in the same location. Three years of disappointment

After 10 years of using a cheeper agent I hoped being a landlord with chestertons would be a step up. After overestimating the rental value a tenant was finally found who then could not pay the rent after the first month. I then had three months of uncertainty, with no rent while they took all of their fees upfront, until a new tenant moved in at £300 less than I had been getting 5 years before. They charged me over £700 cleaning check in on a 4 bedroom house and allowed the first tenant to get out of paying for the check out clean despite him breaking the contract after a month. Since then they have sent in contractors that overcharged and did the same job again and again such as fitting the same security light three times and each time at a different price. There was three new property managers in two years and they all seemed to struggle to keep up with the workload. My tenant waited three weeks for them to send a contractor to fix a leak and then their contractor left without attempting to fix it! The bath was allowed to leak for over a month before I was even told there was an issue, all the while water soaked through the floor and down the wall. Despite them breaking their own terms and conditions they still expect me to pay for rent that they are no longer collecting. I was lied to repeatedly about work that was done and when the rent would come through. My tenant was unhappy and the my experience was stressful and unpleasant

I have used Chestertons for our properties for many years now and always find them incredibly professional. They do that by adhering rigidly to regulations which protect both the landlord and the tenant and this means it all runs very smoothly during the rental period. To whom it may concernI just wanted to write in and say what a fantastic service and experience Fergus Edwards gave us during viewings over the last week. Fergus showed us three properties on different dates including a repeat viewing.We made an offer on one of the properties but the offer was not successful as there were five other offers. However we have now secured a property and I give all the credit to Fegus. The information Fergus gave us and careful attention paid to our situation and list of objectives meant that we found the exact location we wanted.We met 5 agents from different agencies over the course of a week and Fergus was head and shoulders above everyone we met. All the agents were professional and efficient - however Fergus had other qualities on top of this. Fergus is unflappable! In the endless and testing process of viewing, matching requirements to vacant properties, and managing disappointment in what seems to be a white hot market in the Fulham area at the moment Fergus had boundless enthusiasm and patience.My son is now moving to Fulham and we will be frequent visitors and in the medium term will considering moving there ourselves. Fergus will be out first port of call in any future property transaction in the area! Positive Experience Overall

Our experience with Chesterton's was good for the most part. Viewing the rental property was seamless and Melissa is extremely personable. We had an issue with the online system in that I should have been listed as the primary tenant due to a corporate relocation but my husband was listed as the primary, which created confusion in setting up our online accounts. Also, we were under agreement to let the property two months ahead of move-in, and there were last-minute repairs that required us to move in while they were still working on the property. We managed to work around the repairmen and Melissa was great about working with the landlord to have us move in at the same time as planned without a delay. In all, our experience was positive!
