GoogleWhat started off great has changed massively
The state the house was in before my handover was shocking, demo day was basic (although chaps were lovely), handover/key release practically none existent. No urgency to sort snags on key release (as that would be insane) but make you sign things they later use against you despite you mentioning everything on your official snags list
Feels like one big setup to get you over the line then leave you to it. No mention of us not having fibre to the houses, nothing to say who our DNO was, water company etc. still no certificate for the solar panels for me to register them, snags took constant back and fourth with shocking comms and standards of checking. Things marked as done when clearly not. Used tabs outside my house, food packets everywhere, poor comms between customer care and third party companies supporting snags. Snags are expected, but the lack of care is not. Pot holes in roads, all the curbs that go up to people’s drive aren’t flat, rip tyres. Everyone I’ve spoke to is lovely themselves but the system behind it all is completed flawed.
From a sales side - that was great, but of course it was. Far from impressed and it’s clear persimmon value money and volume over quality.

GoogleTwo years in and an upstairs pipe has burst meaning loss of water, electricity, smoke alarms, ceiling damage and more. Reported to Durham office and they couldn't care less. They refuse to acknowledge the build quality issue and manager avoiding callbacks after escalation.
I've had tonnes of issues during my time here, rain leaks, shattering shower screens, frequent loss of power and internet, a garden that was left barren for 10 months, front door coming off its hinge (reported months ago, no response). They're cowboys. Avoid.

GoogleUpdate: These cowboys are now damaging the properties of the residents with zero care or offers to put right anything. Flooding houses with sewerage. Damaging fences and sheds.destroying the gardens. Absolutely awful engagement.
Zero attempt to build a community and not a single effort made to reach out to the existing homeowners and residents to work together to reach any kind of common ground. Just throwing +1000 new houses in to the area with zero investment in schools or doctor.

GoogleAvoid Persimmon Homes at all costs! The build quality is atrocious, with endless snags and poor workmanship. Customer service is even worse. Feels like dealing with cowboys rather than professionals. Would never buy from them again!
