Trustpilotvery poor house quality and after care
very poor house quality, have had a leaking roof twice loose bricks , first leak they fixed after numerous unanswered emails , now telling us we have no warranty for second leak .. also trying to take on a small area of land which they landscaped and are supposed to maintain , but havnt touched in 8 years so took upon ourselves to maintain ..they havnt replied to any of our queries regarding fencing the land in , possibly purchasing from them.. seems once they have your money it’s game over..daisy lane in downham market pe38 9avat say only 2 years warranty on roof , but came an repaired 2 yrs ago when the house was 6 yrs oldalso have live chatted with avant at least 5 times about an area of land running parallel with our garden which we have maintained to stop the weeds and brambles overcoming our fence was told it would be maintained, would like to fence it in and make it ours ,(maybe purchase) but unsure how to go about it , hence all the live chats .. was promised a next day reply on every chat just to say sombody is looking into it , we have never had any kind of reply (10 days later)Have now received a reply telling me that the region head of customer services is now in contact with us , Well there NOTme and my partner both provided contact details and still no communicationYet another month has passed , still no communication from avant homes regard land we are still maintaining and wanting to take on as ours

What an amazing company! From to start to finish I cannot fault Avant, there client service is 5*. In particular our sales advisor Lisa I cannot thank her enough she has been exceptional. Throughout the whole procedure she has been on hand and made our journey smooth and stress free, as first time buyers we would have been lost without her. On completion we have had visits from the contacts we need at Avant. Lisa, Ian and Dave you have all been superstars we are so pleased we chose Avant!

After leaving a review for Avant Homes they very kindly responded with a response which was not personal to me. Asking for my details in order for them to look further into the problem. If you look at your files you will see plenty correspondence going back and forward with Avant consistently refusing to accept any responsibility. This company cannot even respond with a well mannered response they are rude and have no people skills.

I emailed them with a query regarding land ownership which they have totally ignored. They only seem to be interested in selling new homes, nothing else matters to them. It also appears that staff turnover, particularly Directors is very high.

I am a structural engineer and let me tell you this, the quality of their buildings is rubbish. We purchased a flat in 2020 and every once in a while new cracks appear. Before handing over the plots they are very nice and helpful as soon as you pay they won't be bothered anymore. Before purchasing the plot they have told us there will be bike sheds. My bike was stolen recently only because the Cycle stands were not secured to the ground! they could easily be loosened. We have contacted them to improve the sheds not only they ignore us but instead, we received a bill which included the quotes for improving the bike sheds and we were asked to pay £££££ for improving their poor design. very disappointed.

We’ve done a part exchange at Brecks Lane Park. After reading reviews online once we made our reservation I was really worrying about what we’d let ourselves in for. However, I have nothing but good things to say about Avant and we absolutely love our home and the whole process took just under 8 weeks.The whole experience was made even better with James, our sales advisor. He was friendly, knowledgable and welcoming from our very first appointment and was constantly ringing and emailing with updates. Nothing was too much trouble for James, including showing me to the house at least once a week. Overall a really positive experience. I’d definitely recommended.

We have been in our home on Meadowgate Point for just over a year and we are still waiting for snagging issues we reported after we'd moved in to sorted ! We thought being a new build it would be better insulated making it more energy efficient but it is the coldest draughtiest house we've ever lived in ! .Weve uncovered numerous examples of very sub-standard workmanship with our property over this last year and we keep finding more. I wouldnt recommend Avant and the aftersales service is terribleUpdate as of 21/02/2021We are due a contrator visit this week to address minor issues. However outstanding issues we have yet to have rectified are draughty windows . draughty front door .Loose patio slabs Lots of promises from Avant regional team but no action .
