GoogleBrilliant service managed to sell our cottage pretty much straight away ...after disappointing other estate agents sending people round they clearly had not vetted !!a brilliant service all round Katie kept in touch very very regularly and for once I felt like the estate agents were actually working with us ...as a seller ,not for our buyer 5 ⭐ all round would thoroughly recommend .

Both our properties sold within a week of being listed and we were guided through the whole process and kept up to date regarding the sales. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Robert and the team in Holmfirth , they’re both highly professional and very approachable.

We have dealt with a few agents in Holmfirth over the years, and Wm Sykes are by far the best. Katie and her team were so helpful, keeping us updated at every stage and always chasing things. The communication was excellent, and I would highly recommend them.

GoogleI couldn't fault anything about the service with Wm Sykes at all. They were so kind and professional from start to finish and really helpful with enquiries that were made. I even got more than expected for the sale price so that was another bonus. Mark should be very proud of his team as they were all brilliant. Special thanks to Emily for her amazing customer service and for cheering me up on many occasions! Thank to everyone involved in the sale for everything you have done.

GoogleWM Sykes & Son Estate Agents Holmfirth. My home sold subject to contract within one week thanks to Rob & his team! Claire Loft was the lead negotiator. She always responded to communications in a professional and timely manner. Claire always made time for me directly. Claire, Rob and whole team are incredible. The Holmfirth office are in my opinion the best around. It would be impossible to find a better estate agents! I can honestly recommend them 110%. The whole service at Wm Sykes & Son are brilliant and faultless. I however decided to cancell the sale and purchase due to personal reasons. Rob , Claire and the team were understanding of my decision and dealt with it all as always very much caring and professional. Thank you Teresa. Wish you all well 😊

GoogleMy wife and I received a first class service from WM Sykes & Son estate agents. Claire & Rob are so helpful, very professional and approachable. We would highly recommend this estate agent if you are selling or buying a house as this professional team look after you from start to finish. Telephone calls are answered quickly and politely in a friendly manner and questions answered promptly. The whole team provided an exemplary service.

GoogleI personally wouldn't recommend anyone to go through what we did. We will actively avoid this agency entirely for the future. Our point of contact was Claire, and on more than one occasion messages vital to the sale were dismissed and not forwarded to the vendor. When trying to contact Claire, she would be unavailable on the phone, and would try to move conversations back to very confusing and long chains of email. Communication was poor. A lot of time and energy, quite frustratingly, was spent trying to convince Claire to speak to the vendor or understand her communication. Advice was poor, misleading and biased. This caused a lack of trust throughout the process and unnecessary stress.

GoogleI have used this agency in Holmfirth on several occasions, both as a vendor and purchaser. Rob and team are the absolute go-to Agency as far as I am concerned, due to the quality of advice and attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely care about my property needs and provided great insight in to the market. Rob was happy to provide advice even before any potential instruction and during a property refurbishment enabled me to maximise resale by providing property advice on what purchasers would want. Highly recommended.

FacebookAlthough I was a buyer - not a seller - of a WM Sykes property, their service was amazing at every moment. Kay was amazing throughout the whole process and went over and above what she had to do to ensure a smooth sale (despite it being within a long chain). Would definitely recommend.

From start to finish, the process was made very easy, comfortable and dealt with from extremely professional staff. Having been recommended by a family member, I would whole heartedly recommend them to everyone I know- selling or buying a property. Our sale went through within three days. FacebookWe used WM Sykes to sell our property and found every member of the team to be friendly and knowledgable. We mainly dealt with Kay & Rob who completely understood our requirements both in helping us search for a new place to buy/rent and when selling our own property - we really valued their helpful suggestions and advice and were grateful for some pretty swift communication when arranging and following up on viewings. Very much recommend if you are considering selling or letting out your property and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

GoogleReally horrible underhanded behaviour from WMsykes @Slaithwaite. I first sent a couple of emails regarding a property and copied myself in on all emails to make sure the old trick of (we never received your email) and I had a response the first time when I wanted to make an offer! But was completely ignored because they wanted to please a developer who more than likely paid less. I’m sure I will get a miserable excuse but when you treat a genuine cash buyer like trash then you show your true colours! I had property to sell and would never trust them as they treat potential buyers horribly and don’t realise that they affect people’s life’s and selling to friends is poor behaviour.
