Great customer experience so far

We have not yet moved in to the property but so far the service has been excellent. Carol at ‘the oaks’ development in Ellesmere Port helped us quickly take our chance to secure the new build property we really wanted, due to her very friendly and highly professional work. She has supported us through the process and kept us on track. We can’t wait to do our site visit to get a sense of our new home and garden plot. Thank you Carol!

Gaz is amazing!

I've had zero experience previously with purchasing a newbuild home and wasn't sure what to expect (having been filled with horror stories of awful newbuild experiences from friends!). The team have been really fantastic and supportive. Helen and Sarah were friendly and helpful throughout the purchase and kept me regularly updated with the progress of the build. Anwyl's shining star though has to be Gaz, who has been so proactive from the day my daughter and I moved in. He clearly has high standards for the quality of the work performed by his team and has given his care and attention to each item on my snagging list. My hob stopped working the other day and he came straight round to check out the issue and brought some over to fix it that afternoon. On the day we moved in (having had a few conversations with me about my 4yo daughter and me mentioning she loves fairies) he arranged for a letter from 'the anwyl fairies' to be waiting in my daughter's new bedroom, alongside a big unicorn balloon. My daughter was thrilled and it was such a lovely touch given how busy he must be managing the site. I really appreciate all he has done to ensure that the transition into our new home has been as seamless as possible. Give that man a raise!

Winnington Place

I reserved my property at Winnington Place in August 2021, with my property due for completion in November. The sales team, Marie and Kelly were so helpful, they kept me up to date of the build progress, answering any queries I had along the way.The house was completed on time and when I went to the house demonstration, I was so pleased with everything, all the finishes are completed to a high standard.Unfortunately, a week after moving in, I had a significant leak from the en-suite, which resulted in the whole of the downstairs being flooded. This was due to a faulty pipe. Within the space of an hour, there was a whole team clearing everything. Luckily, there wasn’t much damage. Keith and Phil, the site team were so quick in rectifying everything, making sure all the works were done before Christmas, constantly checking everything was ok. I think it was how it was dealt with afterwards was the important thing to me and the whole team were amazing. The site team really take pride in their work.I’m so glad I bought here, after looking at so many new build developments. I know I made the right decision!

Dangerous Electrical Installation

We moved in to our Anwyl home 3 years ago (Hawarden, North Wales), we lost count of the snags over the first few months- Sockets with no wiring behind- Boiler wired back to front - Painting / Plastering disgraceful - Fridge & Freezer not connected on handover - Connections for sky dish on the wrong side of the house I honestly could go on and on, however the worst was uncovered this week….We had Octopus Energy out to fit a new electric smart meter, their engineer identified in minutes a major electrical fault. This was a “live-neutral reverse” & was EVERY socket in our house, he proceeded to switch the power off & highlight how dangerous this was. We had Anwyl’s electricians back to fix that day, however waiting on a full survey.This error & incompetence could of killed someone in or visiting our property. There is no electrical certificate that Anwyl can provide so they have handed the keys over not knowing if this property was safe. We have young children & the thought that they could have been killed is horrendous. I haven’t even received a satisfactory response from Anwyl, in fact they said to “reassure me, the council wouldn’t have signed off building regulations without a certificate”…. Whilst this is also under investigation at Flintshire County Council, feel this should be highlighted as wide as possible. Too worried about profit rather than the quality & more importantly safety of your buyers. Absolute disgrace** adding to this following the reply to say no I haven’t had a satisfactory response from Anwyl & no copy of the electrical certificate has been located as yet… interestingly other houses on our street have started receiving emails about completing an electrical check so not sure due diligence was taken. (Our smoke alarms could also have been impacted - another hazard, but as a “goodwill” you have offered to sort…. Goodwill to sort the mistakes created by your contractors!!!”

Anwyl at Croes Atti - fantastic!

So we had to leave this review as part of our journey so far because we need to share how amazing the Anwyl team have been. This is our second Anwyl home and we can honestly say, we wouldn’t buy from anyone else. Not only are they beautiful, modern homes but Anwyl as a business know how to do it right. Buying a home is a HUGE life experience and quite frankly it can be quite daunting at times….but the team at Anwyl that we’ve had the pleasure of dealing with have made it simple, straight forward and most of all….exciting!! We literally cannot wait for our new home to be built and we have to give a huge shout out to Angela at Croes Atti. This lady is a wonderful person…she’s been there for us from day one of reserving our plot on early bird. We’re moving back to the area for family reasons which have been a very sad time for us as a family, and the decision to find another home so quickly after buying our Kingsley last year, was not made lightly. Angela has literally hand-held us the whole way by keeping us informed, getting in touch when she said she would, managing our expectations and basically sorting everything out with speed, efficiency and most of all with care. She’s absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t have done all this without her. We’re now well on our way to owning our dream home and what started out as what we thought would be a hard road ahead, has been smooth running and EXCITING!!!! So thank you Angela and the Anwyl team….we will post another update review as we get nearer to owning our beautiful forever home :-) x

I have just moved into my first home in…

I have just moved into my first home in One of the Anwyl properties and I have been pleased with the service that I have received from them up to now.To be honest sale team was amazing especially Helen .She was really helpful and supportive even from first step of purchase which was securing my reservation and been always there to answer to my stupid questions .I had no experience before related to the home purchase so her support pushed me through the process and gave me peace of mind which was amazing .Anwyl had a good site team as well especially Gaz who was always there for me for any problem in the house .Gaz was amazing to support me for any issues in the house for instance I had electric issue in the house and he sort that out as an emergency matter in less than 24h which was a massive help.When I had a keys for the house there were some issues regarding patio doors and front door which are all sorted by Gaz .Gaz was really friendly and was ready to respond to any enquiries ASAP which was great for someone like me who works full time and quiet limited on spare time.I recommend Anwyl homes as they been really supportive through the purchase process.

We reserved our first home March / April 2021 and moved in November 21, the service was amazing from start to finish from Kelly and Marie with the sales as updates of the home to Keith and Phil on the build side, we’ve had many messages checking everything is ok and no problems, Keith has been fab when passing to confirm any snags and Also keep me posted on when any snags will be sorted. Our First Anwyl Home

Moved into our new Anwyl home last year. The sales and site teams have been fantastic. Marie was amazing through the sales stage and keeping us up to date with the build progress and conducting our options meetings. Keith & Phil are quick to respond to any queries and have been great at keeping us updated on any site activity we may need to know about. New site in Winnington

We purchased our first family home on the Winnington Anwyl site in April 2021 and moved in early this year. We were drawn to Anwyl due to hearing great things about their build quality and overall house spec compared to other companies. The sales representatives in the office, Marie & Kelly were really helpful and made the entire journey for us an simple one. The site team have also been fantastic since we moved in, Keith and the team have been on hand to assist with any requirements and have proactively checked in on us regularly to ensure everything is going well for us at the new house and have taken care of the general snags we raised in an efficient and timely manor. Overall we have had a good experience with Anwyl and would certainly not hesitate to recommend them to others.

So far we are at the beginning stages…

So far we are at the beginning stages in the process of buying our new home. We have secured our reservation for our plot and are preparing to decide the extras to go into the house. The staff from the start especially Stephen have been very friendly and helpful with our needs and have answered our queries and concerns when asked. I must give a special praise to the relief saleswoman who was brought in to deal with our reservation, as she was clearly overwhelmed the day of the homes being released. Chris the decorator arrived to day,on the dot, to rectify some small snags on the kitchen ceiling and stair wall. A thoroughly professional job was done in an orderly and respectful manner. Sheets were put down to prevent any possible paint splashes. Cleaned up after him so no mess. I now have a gleaming kitchen ceiling and stair wall. Thank you Chris. 👍

We moved into our beautiful Hartford house at Lawrence Garden in April 2022, and we are happy with our house. The reasons for selecting Lawreance Garden for our dream house were the site location (near A6), well designed homes, quiet area, and the greeneries. Since it’s our first home purchase we had millions of questions to ask, and the support we got from Hayley and Debbi from day one was remarkable. They arranged to view the available show homes as many times as we want to find the right property which meets our needs. Throughout the process we were well informed which helped us to move forward. We appreciate their effort, and we are sure they are a credit to Anwyl. Peter and Ian, the site managers ensured that the house was ready to move in. The house demonstration by Peter was well explanatory. The deliveries we had before we moved in was sorted by Ian and we appreciated the help. Once we moved in every day they knocked on the door to check everything was ok and sent workman without delay to sort out any minute defect noted (only very little). These two dedicated supervisors are always available and responds quickly to our enquires. They are working hard to keep the customers happy which is their aim. We see them every day many times walking through the site to make sure everything is going smoothly. They are very pleasant and always give us a wave whenever see us. There is no doubt to say that Ian and Peter is a credit to the organisation. Like the site mangers the entire site team are very polite and happy to help at any time. We are satisfied with the service we received, and we would be happy to recommend Anwyl homes to anyone in future. Thank you Anwyl. .

Happy Home Purchase. Thank you.

I bought my home on Lawrence Gardens Barton last year and was the second owner to move in. (June 2021) I was very impressed with the well designed homes on a spacious site layout and convenient location. Having never bought a new home before, I had heard the ‘horror stories!’ This was a leap of faith for me which soon became my best move. The support I received initially from Sam in sales was outstanding. She really guided me through the whole buying process. When I moved in, the site managers Ian and Pete made sure my house was fully ready to an impeccable standard. They regularly knocked on my door to check everything was ok. As soon as I reported any snags (and there were very few) a tradesman would visit in the next couple of days and all snags were completely rectified. Ian and Pete are still always available to offer assistance and can be contacted easily if needed. They have a very good working ethos and always respond promptly to any queries. They have made the whole experience a real pleasure. I didn’t really know what to expect from site managers but never expected to receive this high level of service which have I received. They are a credit to Anwyl Homes.I would be very happy to recommend Anwyl homes in the future especially the Lawrence Gardens team. Could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you everyone. I am extremely happy with my Anwyl Home.

I moved into my new home in December and I can honestly say; I have had the best experience. All of the staff on site are ready to offer assistance with snagging or general enquiries and they have a very good working ethos, they take the time to introduce them selves and always ask if you have any issues that need to be fixed. From what I have witnessed, they follow Heath & Safety by keeping areas of work clean and accessible at all all times and are very keen on keeping the residents happy and safe.Ian and his team have done an amazing job and I would be very happy to recommend Anwyl homes in the future to friends and family.
