My first contact at Haart Estate Agents, Hockley was with Carl Alderson. He was very kind and made me feel at ease with a very emotional journey which i was about to make. He explained everything to me and was always on the end of the phone to answer any queries or help me with any required paperwork. Nothing was too much trouble. Infact the team were amazing. As a first time seller I had no idea what I should do and what the process was. The thing I liked about this Estate Agency was the personal touch. Carl visited to value our house and took time to listen to us and explain the process. He was regularly in contact and always at the end of the phone (any time of the day!) to answer any questions. The staff in the office kept me updated on viewings and I received feedback promptly. We had the greatest pleasure and was very lucky to deal with Carl Alderson for the selling of our property, we at first was very apprehensive and had no idea of what to expect. He not only did his best to help us but went over and beyond in every way to make the whole experience enjoyable and easy in a very professional manner. Debbie at Haart Hockley was acting for our sellers but she was so helpful that it felt like Haart Hockley were our estate agent (much more than our own estate agent). With continuous and professional communication from Debbie they stood out as the driving force in the chain. Early on when we were selling, they offered us some services from one of their other branches including flink which is their social media property platform which sounded very interesting. All communications with all branches and members of staff were highly professional, pleasant and it felt like they wanted to help (again this does not always hold true for all estate agents) For all of these reasons, Haart would be the first company we call when we come to sell again.

Frankie has been very friendly and professional throughout. He he listened to my criteria and tended to show me properties that match my criteria. Sometimes showing me properties that I didn’t think of looking at. Frankie was knowledgable of the properties he showed me and I felt he understood what I was looking for and what my priorities were. As first time buyers we were extremely nervous and unsure about what to expect when it came to buying our first house. However, that changed when we was met by a welcoming personality who made us feel completely comfortable looking at the property and was open and honest with us throughout. I just wanted to give some feedback on Sam. He was a pleasure to deal with and is a real credit to Haart Hockley. He made the whole process understandable, straight forward and stress less even when it was becoming slightly more difficult during negotiations and agreeing a completion date. We always felt we could contact Sam and get the assistance we required and Sam was our go to guy. I didn’t know what to expect when I arranged an appointment for someone to come and value our property. I was worried I’d try to be pushed into something I wasn’t ready for. I needn’t have worried at all, as when Sam arrived as well as maintaining his professional composure - even while on the receiving end of a very enthusiastic greeting from 3 rather large dogs - they have a good judge of character! He was friendly and REALLY listened as I explained our situation, he was extremely knowledgeable and took genuine care in the advise he gave me. Sam was honest and there was not one moment where I felt under pressure to commit to anything. If in the future we decide to move on, then there is no one else I’d be happier to have than Sam representing us in what would be for me, one of the biggest decisions of my life.

Following the sudden death of my late wife last October, I became the executor of her estate. The house was somewhat unusual, fairly large and rural location. The house has previously been on the market for 12 months with two other agents without success. I put it on the market with Haart at the end of December. I met Debra when I popped the keys in before Christmas she was so enthusiastic about the property and quickly found potential buyers and arranged viewings over the Christmas and new year period which surprised me and the other executors. One of the initial viewers led to an offer. From the beginning Debra was excellent in her understanding of our personal situation, and the difficulties we were having in dealing with everything. She always kept us all totally updated with feedback. Due to the type of property there have been a number of issues that have arisen through the process we have always found Debra has dealt with every situation professionally and we the executors have always had complete confidence in dealing with her. She has maintained the same level of professionalism and support throughout the current sales offer. We (the executors) would like to thank Debra, for making a very difficult and emotional situation as manageable as possible.
