GoogleStonegates Estates was appointed to sell Mum's house and purchase a new home for her. From the outset, the team were all professional, attentive and knowledgeable. We were fortunate to have Anne leading on both sale and purchase and she was amazing. Anne went above and beyond what we had expected, she kept us informed at every stage and was always so friendly whilst maintaining her professionalism. We all felt that Anne genuinely cared about helping Mum through the process with as little stress as possible. The other attributes Anne displayed throughout the process were her honesty and openness even when the news perhaps wasn't what we were hoping to hear - this was refreshing and very much appreciated. Keith was also very helpful and offered critical guidance at the very start of the process. I highly recommend appointing Stonegates. Anne is a complete star - thank you Anne.

GoogleI have had an extremely disappointing experience with Stonegates and would not recommend their services. Their communication was poor, with emails and calls frequently going unanswered. When I did manage to get in touch, responses were vague, unhelpful, and often contradicted previous information. This lack of clarity made the entire rental process unnecessarily stressful. When it came time to move out, the handling of my deposit was equally disappointing and any attempt to negotiate with them was met with slow, dismissive responses. The lack of professionalism in this area was particularly concerning. Overall, my experience with Stonegates has been one of poor communication, disregard for tenants, and a lack of accountability. I strongly advise others to be cautious before using their services.

James, Keith, Anne, et al have provided a professional and friendly service and have offered the right advice at the right time to get the property viewed and sold. I’m out of the area, based over 2 hours away, so it has been an enormous help that Stonegates have been able to offer up sound advice about the local market and also keep an eye on the house, doing regular checks whilst it was empty. GoogleFeedback from a recent house transaction using Stonegate Estate Agents Hitchin. We had an unusual period property that was classed as a difficult property to sell according to the other agents that visited the house. They weren’t wrong, there were multiple issues to overcome with title deeds, condition reports and development opportunities. From the first meeting, Kevin from Stonegate’s knew exactly how to market the property, who would be the likely buyers, and the actions required to get the house in a position to market the house. His years of experience and knowledge was obvious compared to the other agents we met with. We placed the house on the market with Stonegate and was introduced to Anne who would be selling the property and carrying out the viewing. Anne’s went to great lengths to understand the house, the issues and the potential the house had, this made all the difference. Each viewer was told of the history of the house and the potential of the property, she was instrumental in gaining viewings and offers on the property and ultimately securing a buyer. Anne and Keith worked with the buyer and their team and me to overcome the obstacles and challenges and provided outstanding service and professionalism. The regular feed back from Anne and Keith was spot on each time, prompt and insightful. Honestly, if you are looking for and agent and want that professional approach and expertise then look no further. I highly recommended them as a team.
