This is a 5 ⭐️ review for Matthew and the Barrons team We decided to put our newly rebuilt home onto the market, we had a number of local estate agents come and value/ view our property and Matthew was the only agent who was honest, down to earth and knew how much work we had to put into our home. Once Matthew put our house on the market he kept us very up to date on enquiries and did he best to filter for viewings. We run a business from home so we agreed with Matthew that we would have ‘open day’ style viewings on a Saturday. I was more than comfortable leaving Matthew our house keys to deal with the viewings. We had feed back after each viewing. Once we had an offer on our house Matthew kept us up to date on the sale etc and was easily contactable via email/ phone/ WhatsApp. Whilst selling a house is generally a stressful experience- I can honestly say Matthew took away so much of the stress. He was always a pleasure to deal with. Very honest, down to earth and polite. I would recommend anyone looking to buy or sell in Goffs oak to use Matthew/ Barrons. What a fantastic agent! I never thought that I would be able to recommend an estate agent, as I always have found them to fit the stereotype but Matthew breaks the mould! If we could give six stars to Barrons Residential Estate Agents we would. Matthew and his team are that good! Matthew was recommended to us by a friend (who also couldn't stop singing his praises). So when we decided to sell our house we looked no further & enlisted his services. Went for a viewing on a property in Goffs Oak, Cheshunt. The staff working with Barrons estate agent came to accompany us as the owner’s of the property weren’t home. The individual working for the agent made me and my partner feel very intimidated. The property was advertised for 475K, we verbally told the agent our offer for the property was 460K, and the estate agent looked directly at our face and laughed. He insisted the owner wouldn’t go below 470K and was very angry with the offer we had in mind, and was pressuring us to leave the property in a rush soon after we mentioned our offer. We honestly cannot recommend Barrons enough! Matthew gave us one of the three valuations we had on our property, and his was significantly higher than the other two. He was confident in his valuation and rightly so - he sold our house in just 23 HOURS at the full asking price! He really does know the housing market. In fact, it would have been hugely costly to us if we hadn't listened to him! His enthusiasm for our property was clear to see and we felt like he really translated this to our buyers.
