We would like to address the two recent negative reviews, both of which have been submitted by the same individual, a former tenant who was issued a Section 21 notice due to the landlord requiring the property back. Despite being given ample time and a grace period beyond the notice expiry, the tenant did not vacate the property and was not transparent about her onward plans. As a result, the landlord had no choice but to proceed with the legal eviction process. Following this, a claim was made on the deposit through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (DPS). The matter was independently reviewed and resolved via the DPS arbitration process, which awarded funds to the landlord, indicating that the claim was valid and reasonable. At no point during this process were we unprofessional. We fully understand the legal sensitivities involved and ensured that all communication was appropriate, documented, and, where necessary, shared with solicitors and the courts. The only example of “unprofessionalism” given was our response to an email sent during the evening, something we view as being proactive and dedicated to both landlords and tenants. It is unfortunate that platforms allow reviews which do not reflect the full facts and can unfairly damage the reputation of a business that works incredibly hard to uphold high standards of service. We are proud of our professionalism, transparency, and the multiple annual awards we have received as a testament to our dedication. GoogleSageWard have been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout my time as a tenant. They are super prompt, easy to talk to and always strive to find the best solution to any issues raised. Today, rather embarrassingly, I locked myself out (in my dressing gown + late for a work meeting!) and they were here within 10 minutes. They didn't need to do that but the fact they did is a testament to their dedication and commitment to delivering a top level service. Clearly a spam review! Not sure who you are and never heard of our staff belittling anyone. Shame people have to go to these lengths to try and damage our reputable and Award Winning Company which we are truly proud of.
