GoogleI was totally happy with the professional and friendly approach by the Lettings Consultant, Luke, who dealt with my application for property rental in November '22. He kept in touch with me at all times and showed that he cared about keeping me as a prospective tenant. Also, I was new to the area and he provided good insight into the available facilities and attractions.

GoogleI have stayed in deir property for 1 and half a year. The response time, wenever a question is raised is truly impeccable. They responsd to ur queries in a nick of time. Further if given a chance i would like to stay in the property led by them. Truly helpful.

GoogleHad been looking for a place to let for a while and Luke has shown myself and my partner around to a few places and even helped us view one we were very keen on as soon a sit was available for viewings. He has done an outstanding job in terms of getting back to us and with appointments etc. In fact every person I have come into contact with at Anthony Lettings has been fantastic, helpful and more than willing to help. Would really recommend them.

GoogleI have used Anthony Lettings for a number of years and have always had nothing but professional and very helpful staff deal with all of my properties. Today Linda from Anthony lettings as always was extremely helpful but not with a property they deal with but a property that is being managed by another company but even so they still gave me excellent advice on what to do with a problem that arose. If you are looking for a letting agent I would strongly recommend this company I have dealt with various agents and yet to find one as helpful as Anthony Lettings

GoogleMarc and his colleagues assisted us with a difficult end of tenancy dispute resolution for the tenants' deposit. They supported us well but kept appropriate impartiality to allow the process to run its course. This included uploading significant numbers of documents. They were not remunerated for this but helped gladly, their predecessor firm having found the tenants some years previously. Very professional throughout. Thank you!

GoogleWe have rented out our house through Anthony Lettings for several years and unlike other rental agencies we have used in the past, have always found them to be very professional, always helpful and completely reliable. They deal with maintenance issues promptly and have taken the weight off our shoulders completely in managing our property. I would like to single out Linda Cassidy for special thanks as she has been brilliant in dealing with some difficult issues.

New tenancies, renewals, maintenance, references, landlord insurance, legislation updates and market value reviews - the whole package. Even during COVID their service shined! 15 years never let me down once. Thank you

GoogleThe lengths my parter had to go to to get his security deposit back by this firm was ridiculous. After he had a professional clean on a well looked after flat, an inspection by Joanne at Anthony lettings went to extreme and unfair detail to try and retain our deposit (examples being 1.5cm manufacturing string on tap from when we move in, smear on sink where it had been cleaned and faint smudge on the wall, ‘light dust’ to extractor fan- they inspected 4 days after the keys were handed in!). He had even painted over the mould growing from the horrendous windows prior to handing in the keys to try and do a decent job of handing over the property he had looked after. My partner complained on numerous occasions throughout his tenancy about the state of the windows not being fit for purpose (electric was between £5-£6 per day for a 1 bed flat as draft they were so old and weren’t sealed). The main frustration is this report landed via email at 17:55. With no courtesy call and the office shutting at 6pm this meant a terrible nights sleep until we could address this the following morning. We had 2 days to resolve these issues so I had to arrange time out of work last minute and get the cleaner back. He cleans end of tenancy properties all the time and couldn’t believe the lengths we were having to go to. I think it comes down to the fact we didn’t use their recommended cleaner (who was fully booked) so they were looking to recoup the costs. We ended up having to pay for a freezer drawer that had a fine crack on it. The ‘Wear and tear’ terminology seems to be thrown around a lot but no one is ever actually told what this consists of specifically. The flat is now also letting out for £75 less pcm. We are told this is because you pay a premium for a newly fitted property, which I appreciate but the way we had to hand this back was no different to being new. Very disappointed with service received and relieved we are out of the tenancy now.

GoogleI have been associated with Anthony Lettings for 10 years now and I can only speak positively about my experience to date. They are open, transparent and highly professional. The team is committed to providing an excellent service throughout the process from tenant application through to start of tenancy. I would recommend any potential landlord to sign up to Anthony Lettings today!. They are by far the best Lettings agent covering the Hertford area. Choose another agent at your peril.

FacebookI cannot fault the service that Anthony Lettings provided, they were extremely professional and incredibly friendly. The whole situation surrounding the reason for early termination on the flat was reasonably traumatic for me (of no fault of AL or the Landlord at all) but the team at Anthony Lettings were amazing. Everything ran so smoothly and they made the whole situation so much easier than I had ever anticipated. I really hope that our paths will cross again, I have had some bad experiences in the past with estate agents but honestly Anthony Lettings were just amazing. Linda and Alex you went above and beyond the call of duty on many occasions and I cannot thank you and the team enough for everything.

FacebookI had 2 tenants renting a property in town centre apartment. Initially found by Blue Top Lettings that Anthony lettings then took over.... 2 filthy tenants who caused damage to the property and would cause problems with the neighbours with their unsociable hours and noise. I requested they be removed. They were rehoused to another property even tho I had said I would not give a reference and would like to inform any future landlord that I would not recommend these tenants. The tenant until recently continued to use the parking bay at the property, without permission. I called AL to inform the tenant (as he was still on their books at another property rented through AL) and they did not do anything. I eventually had to call the police who apparently had the tenants details on file (surprised not)... Would not recommend. They have tenants from hell on their books, even tho I gave first hand feedback that these tenants were bad. Felt it was my duty to inform any future landlord about these 2 tenants only for them to be housed again!! Would not use and AVOID!

GoogleAnthony Lettings have been our managing agents for around 11 years. They manage our apartments on a full management basis. They ensure that up to date legislation is fully adhered to. Any maintenance issues with our tenants are speedily dealt with. We have never had any complaints from our tenants regarding our agents. I can't recommend them highly enough.
