GoogleVery late in the review but better late than never! Andrew Morris were great! We bought our home through them and Katie was brilliant. So positive, reassuring and constant throughout the process. There were a lot of ups and downs throughout the process of selling and buying however I felt confident in asking for advise and support from Katie which I am grateful for. If we ever moved again I know that we would be using Andrew Morris to sell our property.

GoogleWe were really pleased with the care we received from everyone at Andrew Morris. Communication was really good, we were kept up to speed with all the procedures every step of the way. The staff were always helpful and courteous and went out if their way to help us if any problems occurred. Rosie in particular was efficient, good at liaising with the solicitors and smoothed the way forward at the end of the process. Thank you very much everyone!

GoogleLiam and the team at Andrew morris have been very helpful from start to finish. After the inherited property that we had to sell had been with another estate agents for over a year with very few viewings, Andrew morris took over the selling on our behalf. They got several viewings for us and the place sold within six months. I was kept up to date on all developments and everything with the sale went smoothly. Would recommend.

The sale took about a couple of months. It was a very smooth and easy process. Andrew was very helpful throughout the buying process. We are very happy with our process. We would highly recommend using andrew morris and we would use them again 😊

After an unpleasant experience with other agents, Andrew understood the importance of attracting the right buyer for a smooth sale of our property due to emigrating. The process took 10 weeks with Christmas in-between. Communication was excellent between agent, solicitor and buyer. If you're looking to sell your home, choose the right agent - Andrew Morris. GoogleReally terrible experience with Andrew morris. They act more for the buyer rather than the person paying them. Constantly pressured and on day of completion we didn’t have to leave the property until 2. Andrew showed up in person to take the keys off me, which my solicitor said is totally unacceptable. Would never use again or recommend to anyone. I think they forget how much they are being paid to treat someone so poorly. Had viewings booked and most of the time they never showed up or they mixed things up. Will be using glasshouse next time much more professional and acts for the person paying them!
Hi Catherine, really sorry to hear that you feel this way about our service. Please be assured we always act on behalf of our client. However it is always a very delicate balancing act as we need to ensure a buyer is also happy. I do feel that we have been very understanding and dilligent on your behalf through the sale process, from the very first day. With regard to the completion and handover of the keys, we do have to disagree with your solicitor I am afraid. The buyer's money was sent over to your solicitor in the morning and it is at that point that they have legal ownership of the home. Your solicitor should not have told you that you will own the home until 2pm, or if this was the case it should have been liased with ourselves. With regard to the point about Andrew himself collecting the keys from you; this was more to assist you so that you didn't have to spend time coming into the city centre, and this was at around the 2pm time. Sorry to hear that you felt this was him just turning up to take the keys away. We understand that moving day is an extremely stressful time for all. The buyer of the property had been waiting for the keys to their new home for a couple of hours so Andrew visited you to help speed up the moving process. All that said, we are happy to take on all forms of feedback and use it to better our service so we appreciate your comments and will assess our proceedures.

GoogleI cannot thank Craig and team at Andrew Morris enough for overseeing the sale of my house. I was blown away by the photos and videos to advertise the property. The house sold quickly and I was kept updated throughout the entire sale process. I encountered a few challenges along the way and Craig handled these promptly and professionally to ensure the sale of the house still progressed well. The entire team at Andrew Morris go above and beyond to support both the seller and the buyers during the sale process. I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to sell their house. FacebookReally terrible experience with Andrew morris. They act more for the buyer rather than the person paying them. I was constantly pressured. Several times they didn’t turn up to do viewings or there were mix ups. The day of completion was absolutely terrible. Constant phone calls to pressure me. We didn’t have to vacate the property until 2pm and then Andrew showed up in person to take my key off me. My solicitor said this was totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Would never use again and as I said don’t act for the person paying them. Will be using glasshouse in future.

GoogleGutted with the service here. Missed out on what could have been a dream house! I understand times are different right now due to covid, but apparently, i wasn’t even allowed to view an EMPTY property as i hadnt sold mine yet. I was informed only first time buyers and people who have already sold their property are eligible for viewing. Although I was informed that If i were to put my property on the market with them, ‘something could be arranged’. We don’t take to blackmail very well so politely declined. Needless to say, the property sold very quickly for way under the price that I was willing to offer (in cash). They stopped taking offers after receiving 2!! Really don’t understand the process at all. The government website states viewings are allowed as long as the property is well ventilated, masks are worn, maintain 2 meter distancing, sanitiser is used, no surfaces touched and minimal viewers attended. This is a lot easier viewing an empty property one would think. The way andrew Morris is doing things, surely many sellers and buyers are missing out??NegativeProfessionalism
Thank you for your review, we are sorry that you feel like this. Let me try to answer you on your separate points. With regard to you not being able to view the property, this was a policy that we put in place after discussions with our staff and other local agencies. The decision to allow only proceedable applicants to physically view our properties was not one we took lightly. It was a decision that was made to limit physical meetings and to try and ensure the safety of our staff, their families, our clients and applicants. I fully understand your frustration at not being able to view what could've been your dream home. The offer that 'something could be arranged' if you put your property on the market with us would not have been one of blackmail but simply that because we would already be meeting with you physically we would have no objections in then meeting with you at another property, particularly as it is empty. I am very sorry that you feel this is a way we would operate. It simply isn't. As you have not mentioned which property you are referring to I cannot comment on the offers and agreed sale price. I would be interested to know how you are aware it sold for way under the price however, as this is a private treaty sale and that information should not be available until after completion. Again, I am sorry that you have felt this way about our agency. With the recent relaxing of covid rules we have also now relaxed our policy on physical viewing appointments and are carrying out appointments with non-proceedable applicants, so hopefully you won't miss out if that dream home, or another one, comes to the market. However, more importantly we were also kept informed if there wasn’t actually any updates of note. The team were always at the end of the phone and always very responsive as and when we needed them. GoogleAll in all, the estate agents were good. But unfortunately moving into the property wasn’t as easy as it should have been. The house was not in the state it was viewed in and we had to pay for new flooring downstairs and oven that day due to the flooring and oven being unusable. Maybe checks of properties before keys handed over should be done? Other than this, they were on top form when needed.

Hi Dorothy, so sorry you feel this way. We do apologise that you weren't able to view the particular property because it sold prior to you seeing it. It was on the instruction of our clients to cancel future viewings because of the proceedability of the applicant who had offered on it. We completely understand how stressful the house moving process can be and we will certainly take your comments on board and strive to improve our practice in the future.

GoogleTo say that Andrew Morris estate agents were brilliant is understating them. From the very beginning they were so helpful in slightly difficult circumstances for us. They were friendly, extremely professional, went beyond their remit on several occasions and made the whole process very smooth. Their prices extremely fair with great advertising literature and nothing was to much of a problem when the many times I phoned for help. Highly, highly recommend them.
