GoogleI recently sold my property through Steven and his team and I was extremely impressed throughout.
I had a number of estate agents come and give quotes at the outset and Hampshires were not the cheapest, but Steven showed much more enthusiasm and interest in selling my property than all the others. He knows the area very well and I felt reassured he would get me a good price for my house.
Throughout the transaction I had issues with my corresponding purchase of a house which delayed my sale by quite a long way. Hampshires handled the situation extremely well and kept me updated during this as well as speaking with my buyer.
Overall I felt that Hampshires provided excellent value for money and I do not think I would have achieved the same sale price with another estate agent. I would absolutely recommend them for selling your house.

GoogleI had rented from Hampshire's for six and a half years after a colleague had recommended them.
Moving to a new area on my own was stressful but they made me feel very welcome, taking time to make sure I was looking for the right property for me.
Steven and his colleagues have always been very helpful and swiftly been on the case if there were any issues at the property.
After a long period of stability, recent rent increases in line with the rest of the UK (out of their control), was my only reason for leaving as I had an option to purchase elsewhere.
The area they have an interest in has excellent transport links and the local communities are very friendly - the latter was something I hadn't expected when moving to the area.
Hampshire's excellent service continued even after announcing I was moving away from their area.

GoogleWe had a great start with Steven, extremely welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately, during a time when we needed his support and assistance the most, he has been difficult to contact and has made us feel like a burden.
Due to a serious flooding issue in the apartment, we were forced to leave and relocate. What was supposed to take 2 weeks to sort out has now taken almost a month.
Rather than providing us with updates we are constantly chasing him for information, and we are constantly sent from agency to landlord and vice versa, he has failed to note down important appointments and claims no appointments have been made only to find out they have, he has ignored multiple emails and continues to be nonchalant towards our situation.
Horrifying experience we are currently going through with Hampshire’s and Steven.

Good Morning. I am pleased that you had a great experience with ourselves until your unfortunate event where your apartment was flooded. We have zero control over this, as the landlord has had to claim from his insurance and I have chased this on a daily basis and replied to every single email from yourself and also called you every single week. I would like to point out that on the same day that you reported the leak, our boiler engineer was sent to you within a couple of hours (even on a Saturday). The landlord then started the insurance process on that day, and the following week you were contacted by carpet companies to quote on behalf of the insurers. On top of this you have been compensated with the rent reduction to cover alternative accommodation costs, and the landlord has also agreed to continue this until the issue is resolved.
In relation to your personal items that have been damaged, unfortunately this would be covered by your own contents insurance so we hope that you are able to resolve that with them. Whilst we appreciate your frustration, we are at the mercy of insurance companies but rest assured that this is being chased daily and we hope is resolved within the next week or so. Your 1 star review does not reflect your experience with Hampshire's, it is as a result of this unavoidable event.
