I spent 9 months and £4000 on fees …

I spent 9 months and £4000 on fees with Wye residential trying to sell my flat. The chain collapsed and they walked away and left me to start again . There was a lack of communication , clarity and inquiry . If the sale had been managed better it could have been avoided , it was left to play out for months . Beware of all the promises as in the end there is no one held to account .

We were extremely pleased with the service that we received from Garry and Nikki, and the wider Wye team too , in getting us over the line (with not only selling our house, but also purchasing our next house at the same time too). We knew the goal wasn’t going to be easy, but they all worked systematically towards getting us over the line, and it took real patience, tenacity and perseverance to get us there. We feel lucky to have had them on our team! We are thrilled that they managed to secure our new home for us, and the support from Wye has truly surpassed our expectations, and Wye’s contribution had a significant impact on us being able to move this year. Things were stressful at times, so hats off to Wye for keeping the rest of chain “cool.” We feel that we would have been somewhat lost at times without Wye supporting us, and now know that we made the right decision partnering with them. Amazing, amazing amazing I would highly recommend Lisa Kearney, estate agent at Wye Residential, (High Wycombe) from the minute myself and my daughter met Lisa she made us feel so welcoming, it was like talking to your best friend. It was such a pleasure working with Lisa. We recently used Wye Residential to sell our house in High Wycombe. This initiated very close to the start of the covid-19 pandemic, and as a result a lot of the background work was done under the shadow of lockdown which undoubtedly made things harder. Despite this, Steve and Tracy were brilliant throughout, maintaining strong communication throughout the whole process. They always returned calls, and emails were replied to very promptly. Our house went on the market on a Friday and we acccepted an offer on the Monday! The whole service was very friendly and professional and I have no hesitations in recommending them.

Awful, disloyal and lazy - do not make the same mistake we made by asking Wye to sell your property. Considering this is one of the biggest life decisions you will ever go through, they treated us with contempt and Ian Ferguson is especially useless, and couldn't sell ice to an Eskimo.. He is completely lackadaisical about everything he does and would not know 'priority' if it magically appeared and slapped him across his face. I know that this sounds like we are bitter and twisted and the above might come across as personal, but I really do mean this with the best intent - DO YOUR RESEARCH and steer well clear of the Crendon House office - it will be the best thing you've ever done.

Gary & Steve at Wye Residential dealt with our property sale professionally & with sensitivity as we were selling my late Mothers property. The chain turned out to be very problematic with people having to move on licence at nearly 6pm on completion day. I don't often post reviews but when it matters a lot, I feel compelled to let others know. I did not do a great amount of shopping around as my free time is limited and invited Gary for a valuation. He immediately demonstrated immense knowledge of the area and articulated a very clear marketing strategy based on realistic expectations rather than fantasy ££££££. All the visits, follow ups and feedback were faultless, the team was always on top of things. Once an offer was accepted, Sharon took the lead on keeping the ball rolling, connecting with buyer and solicitors whilst informing me as soon as there was something to share. One could think that this is the norm but the contrast with the other estate agent on my buy is glaring, no coms, no return call so seller and I had to connect separately to update each other. So I cannot recommend more highly Gary and the team if you need to pick an estate agent.They have provided expert advice, piece of mind and very valuable service. Shame I haven't got any more house to sell !! :-)

I recently purchased a property where Wyes were representing the vendor and from the moment of setting up the first appointment to final completion Wye were consummate professionals. During the whole conveyancing process, Wye went over and above their role to ensure the sale went ahead and during the process were always reachable to offer advice and they were key to bringing and keeping all the respective stakeholders engagement so the deal was able to complete. The purchase of my property was handled by Ian Fergusson, who was a pleasure to deal with and was always available to share his knowledge and expertise making the whole process less stressful and he kept the deal on track, I would happily deal with Ian again. Both Wyes and Ian delivered a very high level of service and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services. James
