I was in the process of buying a property advertised through them. Waisted 3 months of my life, Lee and Paul were hiding a very crucial information and in the end they admitted that they were helping seller with their financial difficulties. They should never allow for the property to be advertised if the people couldn't effort to move out. I had to pay over £2500 solicitor bill (my mistake for trusting them) as chosen their solicitor recommendation. Solicitor along with Paul and Lee were working together and 100% against me, as a customer.

Brilliant service from a friendly and experienced team! Right from the start Jamie came and organised a great video that completely showcased our house. The attention to detail on the house particulars were clear and the photos taken by Jimmy were excellent. Our house sold very quickly but took a long time to go through due to the bottom of the chain falling through twice. I really believe that if Mansell's had control of the bottom of the chain it would have been a lot smoother but Karl and Andrew did an absolutely fantastic job keeping on top of every aspect of the chain and keeping us informed of progress. If you are considering selling your house, these are the people to sign up with. Highly recommend

Rented from Mansell McTaggert. We reported mold nothing done about it, they were not interested. We moved out and paid for a professional cleaning service £330 but they said it was not good enough and and wanted to bring in there own cleaning service and deduct from the deposit. They sent photos two weeks after moving out pointing out stuff that wasn’t even on the exit inspection report. Avoid really unscrupulous people.

Initially all went well. Great photos and floor plan attracted people quickly via Rightmove. But after agreeing a sale, the sales progression process was poor and frustrating. I felt it was more about “managing expectations” rather than prioritising and communication. But we got there in the end but can’t help feeling that was mainly due to other people’s efforts.

Just before the strict 10:00 deadline, I spoke directly with the agent handling offers. He confirmed there were no offers in the £290, £300k region. I then submitted a clear, chain-free offer of £295k, well above that range, and received confirmation of receipt by email. Despite this, the property was sold to someone else with no explanation, no timestamped evidence, and no transparency. I am now gathering evidence, including recorded calls, and will escalate this to The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards to protect my rights and obstruct the sale until the matter is resolved. Buyers deserve fair treatment, not vague denials and procedural silence.

Highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again.Although I dealt mainly with Sam, who was constantly professional, helpful, always ready to answer questions and nothing was too much trouble, with constant updates, involving a move that has not been the smoothest for myself. In fact, I would say over and above in some instances.Whole team were excellent in communication and customer care when Sam wasn't available. Uckfield Branch - What an awful Estate Agency. Asked to view 2 properties on Saturday morning, told them more than happy to attend without them tagging along and the sales person (male) was anything but helpful. made up so many excuses and totally inflexible or helpful I simply advised that his Vendors should know how bad they are AND I would not bother viewing based on how awful my experience was with him.

Need to check into reality that it is not a normal or common thing for RENTERS to earn nearly £50k a year if people are looking at renting your cheaper 3 bed houses, its because thats what they bloody need and can afford! Expecting them to be earning that amount and denying any help towards people who don’t straight up just no can’t help you there you’re too poor bye! Honestly ridiculous, have you not heard of the cost of bloody living. Price of life is going up but they pay isn’t. Landlords, if you’re wondering why no one’s renting your property yet. These people are why. This is for Burgess Hill, no idea if you’re all like this

East Grinstead Branch - they were excellent. Selling and buying was a very long and drawn out process and Mansell’s were helpful and really supportive throughout. From the start I felt they had our best interests at heart. They offered sound advice and we were so pleased we went with them. Luca and Cameron were incredibly helpful with viewings and Steven was excellent with his sales progression support and assistance on numerous occasions! Anytime we called the office I felt whoever we spoke to knew all about our sale and eventual purchase, they seem to really work together as a team and we are so pleased we chose them! Disappointing experience with Haywards Heath branch as a potential buyer of a property that they were selling/managing. Substandard communication throughout the entire process from start to finish with us regularly chasing for updates which was massively elongated due to the sellers 'changing their minds' after we had, had our offer accepted, engaged a solicitor and paid for searches to be completed on the property. The entire situation could have been avoided if the sellers were onboarded correctly with Mansell Mc Taggart to ensure that they were 100% certain about marketing and selling their property. Make sure you get everything formalised in writing to protect yourself should anything go wrong like it did in our situation.
