I completely trust her to handle everything with professionalism and care, and she consistently goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly.For example, when the tenants broke both the fridge and washing machine, Jess promptly arranged for repair professionals to assess the situation. When it became clear the appliances couldn’t be fixed, she provided 3-4 replacement options at varying price points, all of which were cost-effective and competitive with retailers on the high street. Jess always ensures there are multiple quotes for repairs or replacements, giving me confidence that I’m getting the best value for money. She then seamlessly arranged for the replacements, ensuring minimal disruption for the tenants.Beyond this, Jess also takes the time to speak with tenants to ensure they are respectful of the flat, maintaining a good relationship while safeguarding the property. I met Toby Whittome, a Director at the Jackson Stops office in Lindfield, at a neighbour’s Christmas cocktail party. As my wife and I were pondering selling our house the following spring/summer, I spent quite a few minutes peppering Toby with a number of questions. I immediately liked his manner, patient, detailed, humorous and tolerant of me chewing up his time away from the office. We have now sold our house with Toby brokering the deal. Despite knowing that I was going to use him, we interviewed a number of other companies. None of them had the manners nor manner that I wanted in my partner for this deal. As a foreigner, I am fascinated about the strong opinions that homeowners or buyers have about property agents. The English system is far from simple and there are numerous opportunities to fail. Ours had the typical ebbs and flows but it certainly didn’t feel like it. Like anything you get what you pay for and I, possibly, didn’t pay enough so we got a steal. In fact, the process was seamless, lacked the gravitas of what a transaction of this size could have had and was just plain enjoyable…except for the moving of possessions part. I queried Toby robustly about his strategy and the process and ultimately deferred to him despite having worked in property in the past. I would strongly suggest you use Toby and his team. He may not tell you what you want to hear but he will tell you what he knows. If that is not what you want to hear or he sounds uncertain, that is the reality of the market, the process, the English system and he will still know more than you do. You are in good hands. Patronising and dishonest

I initially approached this company after viewing a property they were marketing and considering making an offer. However, I was told they wouldn’t take on my own property as it was “outside their remit.” This didn’t appear accurate, as I’ve since seen them advertise several similar properties in my local area, both in size and value. When I challenged this, they reluctantly agreed to proceed. Unfortunately, their overall manner came across as rude, patronising, and unprofessional, which did not inspire confidence. As a result, I decided to instruct another estate agent.

Don't even consider instructing any other estate agents in Mid-Sussex. Toby and his team (i.e. Freddie and Trudie) deliver a fantastic service. They generated over 30 viewings when the market was wobbly and they attended every single viewing themselves, totally different to how many other estate agents operate. They kept us closely informed throughout the process, gave expert advice, and delivered what we wanted. This is a class act. Probably one of the best teams in the south of England.

I wish I could give negative stars as this well and truly warrants it. Guy is your typical estate agent. Messes people around and is absolutely useless. The breed of estate agents who give the rest of the industry a bad name is embodied by Guy and his actions. If you are a seller do not use this agency, go to someone else in the area , there are many out there who will do a far better job. The process will be simpler, quicker and cheaper most likely. If you are a buyer then beware as you will be messed around from start to finish and the whole process just isn't worth it. Guy refuses to put offers to vendors even though it is a legal requirement because he wont make enough commission, plays games with all parties and lies to get the result he wants. I cannot express the words I want on here about this agency and Guy specifically, but all I can say is this is up there with all the other slimy lying estate agents that have the same reputation and for good reason. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!

I would highly recommend Toby and his brilliant, extremely professional team if you are debating who to sell with and if you also happen to be buying with them then you are doubly lucky. They dispel all the usual myths and cliches about estate agents! They were a pleasure to deal with from the moment I made first contact, at every house visit I was met by one of the senior team but allowed to look round at my own pace, and they did the same for viewings at my house. The usual stress and emotions that run alongside moving home were dealt with sensitively and practically and with good humour. Decent Letting Agent.

Everything went well and communication was good. They were also helpful when we wanted a second viewing. The downside was our landlord was hounded during the referencing process, even when we were promised they would not be contacted if we allowed the open banking. This resulted in our landlord discovering we’re leaving before we had a chance to tell them. Aside from that, it was a pleasant experience. We dealt with Eloisa in the Weybridge office and Loren for any letting problems - both are engaging and are fast to respond.

Don't Hesitate To Use Jackson-Stops

From us finding a house we liked to making an offer, the agent - Samantha, was always approachable and helpful. Samantha monitored the selling process diligently giving us constant updates when there were delays and negotiating with parties when there were was a hold up. Unexpectedly, the first sale was withdrawn after a protracted period and Samantha delivered the unwelcome news sensitively and then went out of her way to find suitable alternatives. Samantha was very caring and diplomatic when dealing with some of the questions I posed and when considering a suitable alternative.
