GoogleWe would like to thank w h browns in Haxby for a wonderful service that they provided for us the staff are great ,polite ,and very professional. The broucher was layed out perfectly showing all photos and the description of the property We put our property on the Market with them in April this year and in August we had sold getting the full asking price . Overall very pleased with the service We now live in Bridlington From Mr & Mrs A Lee

GoogleAs a first time buyer, I went into buying a property with very little if any knowledge of how the process, and mortgages, worked. From the first viewing I feel that everyone at William H Brown has always been putting my best interests first. Hannah has helped me massively with understanding and securing a mortgage, even after my first attempt at a purchase fell through, and has taught me a lot about what to expect in the future. She has always been on the end of the phone as soon as I need her and had kept me updated with everything that has been going on, as well as making sure I have done everything I need to do on time. I’ve felt very comfortable going to her with all my questions, and will be going back to her in the future!

GoogleWe had an excellent experience with W H Brown in Haxby, following a rather poor experience with a different estate agent in the area. Karen put the property on the market immediately and to a broad audience. Ellaina took over and was extremely good at communicating with us, with the buyers and with our solicitors. Everyone at W H Brown was pleasant, patient and polite. We would certainly use them again and would highly recommend them.

YellUnprofessional and childish
Terrible. We were mislead about the permitt parking when viewing the flat (were not eligible for a permit, but they told us we were), the agency that they used to complete the references asked me for the same information at least four times, they also did the same thing to my last landlord, we weren't given to codes for the building/pedestrian gate/vehicle gate when we collected the key and had to ask for them seperatly, still haven't had the code for the vehicle gate over a week after we moved in. Whole thing was a total shambles, would not recommend.Edit: Four months after I wrote this original review some of the team from William H Brown came to conduct a flat Inspection. I was out at work and my boyfriend was in London on business. When I came home there was feces in my toilet and the only people who could have done it was them. We emailed them about it they were really snotty and basically called us liars. We're moving as soon as our agreement is up.

GooglePurchasing a house through them, so we're not even paying them. Wish RR would take a leaf out of your books. Things may have ran smoother! Hannah has been brilliant 11/10. Highly recommended

GoogleThe team at the Haxby branch have been brilliant in both helping us prepare our property for sale, through to viewings and marketing of our house. They have also been really good at chasing the sale through with the usual bumps in the road that go along with selling a house they did a first rate job of flattening them out. I am glad we chose them to sell our house

From the start when Karen came to give us a valuation on our property , right though to finding us a buyer Ellaina and her colleagues have kept me informed weekly if not daily on the progress of viewings, helping me with a surveyor and a solicitor. She kept in contact multiple times a week to reassure me on anything! Any questions or worries I had she always responded straight away with an indepth reply covering everything! GoogleI was always treated professionally with patience in my contact with the Haxby office! I was always kept up to date with the process which was especially useful when selling from a distance. Staff were very helpful with their advice and provided useful contacts with tradesmen which assisted in the eventual sale of the property.

Ellaina, Karen and Elisha, in particular, have always kept me fully informed of progress and responded promptly to all phone calls and emails. I thoroughly recommend the Haxby branch.
