I contacted Reeds Rains in Haxby after seeing one of their listings on another website, and managed to get a viewing the following day. Karen C met us at the property and handed over a brochure. This was a pleasant surprise as none of the other real estate agents had brochures for their properties. Karen was very knowledgeable about the property and could answer almost all of our questions immediately, and followed up any other queries very quickly. Once we agreed to rent, the entire process up to collecting the keys was completed over the phone. All the staff at Reeds Rains Haxby are friendly, helpful, and I highly recommend them for all your real estate requirements.

Having just returned from living overseas the pressure was on to get settled as quickly as possible, schools sorted, work on track and most importantly a comfy home for my daughters. Karen Cocker of Haxby branch got this crucial part sorted out with no stress on our behalf in less than a week. We've been in for four weeks now and the service and support is still as evident and down to earth now as before signing the contract. This contrast shows greatly compared to my Mother's situation down in the Midlands where a lettings agent is more than happy to keep smiling while a tenant in their mid-70's is taking cold showers, dealing with leaks and faulty heating and threatened with charges if they don't take all possible actions before the agency gets involved. Thank you again Karen, and Reeds Rains Haxby for keeping everything smooth and calm. Complaints?.... just the one where the parking in Haxby is so busy I have to walk past the bakery to get to the agency and the petty cash pocket takes a hit.

Ashley was really helpful when me and my other half were interested in a property. She arranged a viewing very quickly and was enthusiastic when showing us round. Within 2 weeks of the viewing we were in our new home. There was a bit of a delay with paperwork being released when we went to collect the keys but Ashley worked fast and efficiently to make the process keep moving forward. Very friendly and has fab customer service and would highly recommend.

The team at Reeds Rains did an excellent job helping us to sell my mothers house. Discussing the best options on how to market and sell the property and then keeping us informed about the sales progress. All was done in a friendly and professional manor which is what you would expect. Despite the initial buyers pulling out of the sale the property was put back on the market and very quickly attracted a new buyer and the sale went through very quickly and smoothly. When it became clear that this wasn't quite the right property, he advised me of other potential options, which led to the successful purchase of my new house.
