I recently sold my house through Mansell McTaggart in Copthorne, West Sussex, and the service was outstanding. Josh was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was very professional , efficient, and his warm smiley attitude took the stress out of the sale. It is clear that the branch is exceptionally well-run under Julian the branch manager. Julian was very good, and highly supportive. They make a fantastic team, and i highly recommend Josh , Julian and the rest of the Mansell McTaggart Team.

Mansells moved my mother in law a couple of years ago. They did a great job for her so there was no discussion about who we would choose to sell our house in Hassocks. Gareth valued our house with certainty in what we knew was a bad market, even for Hassocks. We had an offer within 3 weeks which they helped negotiate to an agreeable figure. The sale went in hand but we hadn’t found a property to move to. We viewed several properties with Mansells and another agent but none suited us. Gareth knew exactly what we wanted and after several weeks he called to say he had just valued a property that he knew we would buy. Sure enough a few weeks later it came to market and we agreed to buy it. It all went through with the least amount of hassle possible. I can’t recommend Gareth and the team enough

A friendly and accommodating team

We have just bought a house through Mansell McTaggart Storrington. Joanna, Mark and the team have been great. They have been our faithful advocates through a lengthy process, and genuinely shared our delight and relief when it all finally came good. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is because we were relocating some distance, and to start with they seemed slightly bemused by us wanting subsequent visits to the house when we were in the area (sometimes at quite short notice, to be fair!). This is probably applicable to many estate agents - buyers need more than 15 minutes in a house to make the purchase of a lifetime! But I don't want that to detract from a good review overall - we soon became friends and they accommodated many a visit, as well as visits from tradespeople and keeping an eye on the house while it was empty - so they went above and beyond in the end. Disinterest all the way…

After researching the local estate agency market, when we were looking to sell my dad’s home, Mansell McTaggart Copthorne seemed to be the best solution. However, since putting it on the market in January we have now moved to another estate agents. Although we had an offer earlier in the process (that fell through, through no fault of MM), the lack of effort and communication following this was staggering. No interest, no feedback and they had to be chased on every little detail. Viewings feedback was non existent and my advice to others looking locally for an estate agents in and around Crawley is avoid this bunch. Zero motivation and even less interest!

Gary claims to be the branch manager he acts like a jumped up spoilt child and full of his own importance. I enquired about the former National Wide Building Society in Hurstpierpoint. he first of all told me it sort of available which I cross examined to which he said its available. He then told me about it in a negative tone with the clear intention of putting me off. to conclude he promised to email me the details and didn't. Now that's how the office manager conducts himself. That is a 5* minus in anyone's book.

Crowborough people stay away from Lee and Paul!

I was in the process of buying a property advertised through them. Waisted 3 months of my life, Lee and Paul were hiding a very crucial information and in the end they admitted that they were helping seller with their financial difficulties. They should never allow for the property to be advertised if the people couldn't effort to move out. I had to pay over £2500 solicitor bill (my mistake for trusting them) as chosen their solicitor recommendation. Solicitor along with Paul and Lee were working together and 100% against me, as a customer.

Brilliant service, highly recommend

Brilliant service from a friendly and experienced team! Right from the start Jamie came and organised a great video that completely showcased our house. The attention to detail on the house particulars were clear and the photos taken by Jimmy were excellent. Our house sold very quickly but took a long time to go through due to the bottom of the chain falling through twice. I really believe that if Mansell's had control of the bottom of the chain it would have been a lot smoother but Karl and Andrew did an absolutely fantastic job keeping on top of every aspect of the chain and keeping us informed of progress. If you are considering selling your house, these are the people to sign up with. Highly recommend
