We have interacted with Hamptons on two occasions now, once to buy a house in 2016 and again to sell our house in 2020. We dealt with Jonathan and Rebecca on both occasions, both are extremely professional, knowledgeable about the market, and helpful with property buying and selling advice. This year, Jonathan has helped us to sell our house, and was always on hand to help with the many questions that come during the whole process of selling and buying a house. Jonathan regularly kept us updated, right from the viewings stage of the property, to offers and through the sale and purchase process, and gave us honest and sound advice. He was excellent at pulling everyone together including other agents and solicitors in our chain, when it was most needed, in order to exchange when we needed to. Having looked for a house for nearly 2years, we finally found a house that was on the market with Hamptons. James and Davina have provided much needed support throughout the process enabling us to complete before the end of the stamp duty cut off. Hamptons in Fleet, in particular Jon, have been amazing through a very long and uncertain time, we held on all through the first lockdown and finally completed in October. Jon has been so much more than we could have asked for in an agent, nothing was ever too much and he has been in constant communication even when he was away on his 10th Wedding Anniversary weekend! What a super friendly set up. It does so much more than what it says on the tin. We were buying through Hamptons and by the end of it I wanted to pay them the commission rather than the agents we were using to sell our house. - who were less than useful throughout the process. Jonathan Dredge was a superstar and whenever we were stuck on something he had some recommendations. We actually used a solicitor and one of the movers that he recommended. These guys are professional, responsive and if I am ever looking to buy/sell again we will definitely use Hamptons.

The Hamptons Deposit Manager and the TDS.

The Hamptons Deposit Manager, Camillie Solomon, was extremely helpful in handling a disputed sum by outgoing tenants. Throughout a four month period of resolving the dispute Camillie was meticulous in keeping me updated on her negotiations with the tenants and the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS). She did this with much courtesy and I could not have expected a more efficient and fair outcome. Thank you Camillie.

We used Hamptons in Godalming to help sell our home. Selling isn't easy, especially during a pandemic. Hamptoms made it less stressful all round. The staff were extremely helpful with all things regards to selling the house, knew the area very well and generally a lovely bunch of people. The after care was nothing short of amazing! Should we look at selling or buying again, we would definitely use Hamptoms, without a doubt. Highly recommend Hamptoms Godalming, especially Ross, Andrew and Jason and the lovely Pippa.

The two property managers we've had looking after our flat have both been amazing. When Sarah Sapong left her role we were concerned that the excellent service she'd offered wouldn't continue. We had nothing to worry about Thahmid Sultan has been fantastic. We have had a few issues with tenants and things needing to be repaired in the property and Thahmid has responded quickly, with interest and concern and resolved everything in a very timely manner. Misleading Estate Agent - Amersham.

I am angered how this firm do not service property before placing on the market - If they did - they need to do better. Reason - 2x in one year my brother has fallen from one of their properties / injured their self. Flat - top to bottom with no balcony barriers & Staircase - broken with no degree of checking stairs Both should be reviewed before placing on the market.Both properties are still on the market even with issues. - If you need to contact us - Units 1-7 PO6 1EFBE AWARE - This Estate Agent Is Misleading / Faulty.

Hamptons Staff always AttentiveAlthough it sometimes occurred that issues took a little while to be solved, this was rarely the fault of the Staff at Hamptons themselves. We have been particularly fortunate to have Property Manager Joe Sanders as our contact point, and he has always tried his best to sort things out for us whenever an issue has arisen. He has been particularly good at being an equal intermediary between tenant and landlord and never made us feel as though he was only working for the landlord and didn't care at all for the tenant.Keep up the good work, and thank you Joe!

My experience with our property’s manager and some of our letting agents

My experience with our property manager, Mr. Joe Sanders have always been satisfactory in terms of him being responsive, helpful, and committed. He has always tried to address our concerns in a timely manner and has a good understanding as to how effectively communicate with the landlords. In some occasions though, especially with letting agents, I’ve had some unpleasant experience which sometimes was kind of frustrating. There were some situations where one or two of the flats were vacant for relatively long period of time and I personally found it very difficult to communicate my sense of urgency with the agents. And sometimes there were different agents working on a specific flat with no effective communication channels with each other as well as with the landlords causing me send different emails to different agents discussing same matters. To me it seems there are sometimes some sort of miscommunications amongst Hamptons’ hierarchy as well as between the letting agents.

Jacob is a truly exceptional estate agent. We had been on the market without success, for over a year, with a lovely, but unusual, property. From the moment that we first met, Jacob understood what he needed to do in order to achieve a sale for us. The photographs that Hamptons took were lovely, together with a video tour. But more importantly, when the right buyers came along (only a few weeks later), Jacob made sure that the deal was done. He is tactically astute, a good negotiator, assiduous, careful and attentive.
