Truly exceptional service from Finlay on my property sale, I would highly recommend TLC Properties! To have one person at the end of the phone, message or email just whenever I needed was so reassuring and to know Finlay was dealing with my buyers directly as well, from start to finish, fantastic! I got to select the marketing package that worked for me (with Finlay's advice) and I got £22,000 over asking price! I am so happy! Thank you so much, I will be using TLC again!

GoogleHaving already sold a property with Tom Lawrence, we didn't even consider anyone else when it came to moving again five years later. Professional throughout, ever helpful, calming in time of crisis (caused by solicitors, not by anyone at TLC), always friendly, worked with us to get a good sale and, from start to finish, it has been a joy to deal with TLC (as much as buying and selling a house is ever a 'joy'). Estate agents just don't come better than this

GoogleWe used Tom from TLC Properties to sell our big, Edwardian townhouse in the centre of Harrogate because we liked him as a person, and because he was very knowledgeable about the market. We had two offers within a few days of each other and Tom gave us some fantastic advice to manage the situation. He was very patient, understanding, open and honest the whole way through the marketing, the show arounds and the sale process and he always kept us calm and positive when we were worried about anything. He definitely knows his stuff and you really couldn't wish for a nicer estate agent!

TLC Yorkshire Properties is without a doubt the worse letting agent we have been unfortunate enough to encounter. We rented through them a property, which they also managed and the experienced was so horrendous that it left us psychologically scarred to this day. The property had from the word go a plethora of major structural issues (water ingress, penetrating damp, windows badly fitted which flooded in rainy weather) but TLC and in particular its director Tom Lawrence treated us with contempt, disregard, failing systematically to address conveniently any of the issues, gaslighting us at every opportunity (Mr Lawrence attempted to blame the issues on us) and holding us ransom to the 12 month contract we had signed. We suffered psychological torture at his hands, had personal belongings damaged by damp and water, suffered health issues which arose from the damp in the property and were forced to live without hot water for 6 weeks. Only after we involved the local council in the matter were we begrudgingly allowed to surrender our tenancy and even then we had to “fight” Mr Lawrence for our deposit. TLC Yorkshire Properties is sadly an awful letting agent with no duty of care, empathy or professionalism.

GoogleAmazing service from Finlay even when the first buyers withdrew due to survey issues. Finlay/TLC sold the house again very quickly. They have always been pro-active in overcoming potential problems and navigating the way to a successful completion. Highly recommended .

He offered great advice, produced a detailed brochure for our property, conducted all the viewings & once we had secured a buyer he ensured all parties were kept up to date. GoogleI was very impressed with the quality of the pictures and a lot of though was given to their layout on the various property platforms, so the first picture was the front door, followed by the down stairs and moving through the house but importantly finishing by duplicating some of the key shots. Once a sale was agreed TLC were onto all the parties, asking what needed to be done to keep the transaction moving. I was pleased and impressed by the service.

GoogleTom Lawrence is the ultimate professional, I can not rate his service highly enough. He is knowledgeable, helpful and patient and always seems to be available to answer questions and give advice. Finley Lawrence is also a fantastic photographer and made our house look amazing in listings. You get a much better service from these guys that the 'big chain' estate agents.

FacebookAbsolutely disgusting service. Causes endless stress, suffering and bullying. After stealing Ewewmoves clients, Tom Lawrence decided to set up this two bit company on his own and is an unprofessional, untrustworthy and unreliable liar. He is incapable of doing his job, is rude, sexist,, flustered and contacts you in unsocial hours. Avoid like the plague.

I have previously used other estate agents when looking for somewhere to rent but the friendliness and responsiveness I experienced with TLC is by far the best. Finlay was excellent and I would strongly advise giving them a call if you’re thinking about moving!
