GoogleSusanne and Jo worked tirelessly to sell my house. After the offer was made they kept me fully informed of everything that was happening with the sale. They worked hard to resolve any of the buyers requests and even went as far as to help me try to move my removals men! The very stressful situation of moving house was made more bearable by the professionalism and support from the team at Martin & Co. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you.
Thanks for your kind review Gail, I'm glad we were able to take some of the stress away! Susanne

GoogleWe have let our flat out with Martin and Co since February 2017, been happy with the professional and very efficient service, it was let from the first viewing. Tenants are happy and settled and we know from martin and cos quarterly visits the property is being well looked after. An area that particularly attracted us to use Martin and co was their strong attention to detail, being well seasoned landlords dealing with the team has been stress free.

GoogleMy wife and I appointed Martin & Co in Harrogate to sell a small house that my wife had inherited. The house was an undeniable renovation project and was priced accordingly, and very sensibly. It attracted about twenty viewings after the first weekend and we received eight offers, all over the asking price. The excellent and down-to-earth Jo Ripley gave us great advice throughout, and we chose the best-placed buyer and ignored a much higher offer which struck us as holding trouble in store. So we got excellent service and advice, and much cheaper than the agency that wanted us to go to auction (which would have been poor advice as the developers viewing did not make offers, and the other buyers would have been kept away). We would certainly use their services again.

GoogleMartin & Co have managed the rental of our house since 2009. As expat landlords there has never been anytime that we felt disadvantaged being away, this was because of the service and peace of mind that Susanne has provided. When it was time to sell our house, we also used Martin & Co, and once again the process was expertly handled and the outcome was a successful, hassle free sale.
Dear Cliff, thanks for the great review, it doesn't seem like 9 years have passed since we let out your family home! All the best, Susanne

GoogleI have used Martin & Co for around 14 years when I had a property rented out. I was always kept well informed and everything ran very smoothly over the years. I then used Martin & Co to sell this property and again found them very efficient, pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend them for both the rental and sales market.

"I had many viewings for letting. Their communication was good, but the service was non-existent. It's a great place if you want to waste your time and energy."

GoogleI rented a property through Martin & co for 9 years. They have always been helpful and fair. If anything needed to be fixed this was done promptly. When the tenancy ended it was all dealt with quickly and fairly and I received my bond back in full. If I ever need to rent again they will be my first stop.
