Was shown round a property to let, and noticed damage to the property and fixtures/fittings that I was assured would be resolved. Was required to sign an inventory that didn't mention that damage before getting the keys, only to find the damage still there. Thankfully the landlord understood. The property was landlord managed, though Belvoir took the deposit. They failed to ensure it was protected in an authorised scheme, and put this responsibility on the landlord, who will now pay the costs for this. When I was first shown the property, I was told little about the other tenants when I asked. After several months of anti-social behaviour, police call outs, and attending personally to one heroin overdose, it appears the agents may have been aware of these issues when I first asked.

It was really an amazing experience with Belvoir. The main thing I need to mention is about their customer service. As Iam a foreigner and I don’t know about the systems and rules over here but I never felt that when I was dealing with Belvoir because the staff is very helpful and supportive and they helped me to find a nice property as per my wish. I Have worked with Belvoir for nearly 20 years doing their electrical maintenance and they have helped me for the same length of time with my rentals. They have always found me tenants very quickly and efficiently dealt with all the administration etc to get the rentals up and running. Laura, Gemma, Lesley, Elaine and Barrie are a great team and brilliant to deal with from both the lettings side and the management of the properties. Belvoir helped me get my Dad's flat presentable for renting after he was admitted to a care home, and then found tenants within a month. There were quiet a few things needing sorting a after they moved in that Belvoir managed through local tradesmen at reasonable prices, which was essential because I live 250 miles away. All Belvoir staff were really helpful through a difficult period that was much appreciated.

Everything was great until I left if I had a n issue they fixed it etc...when I moved out I got professional cleaners in paid a lot of money...the flat was vacant for 5 days before I handed the keys back and when they inspected it I was marked down for 3-5 specs of dust in a cupboard!! The woman also had me at 8 months heavy pregnant getting down on my hands and knees to clean the skirting boards which weren't dirty and around the toilet...it was a disgusting thing to make me do heavy pregnant watch me struggle on the floor to get up there was lots of tears...never again!!

I would recommend Belvoir and their friendly, efficient staff to anyone thinking of renting a flat or house around Harrogate. I chose my flat and fortunately Belvoir were the letting agents, and as a result the whole process from start to finish was quick and efficient, compared to other letting agents I've been involved with before. Even after moving in the staff checked to make sure everything was OK, and any little faults with the flat were soon fixed, to a high standard. It's nice to deal with a company that greets you with a warm welcome on first name terms whenever you ring up and answers any enquiries you have.

Helped move my son into a property let by belvoir yesterday big mistake ! Property is in a very poor state every room needs painting (apart from the bathroom) cleaners apparentlybeen in day before hard to believe ! Spoke to manager told to me to tKe it up with lanlord ! Having come from a private let with excellent service and a lanlord who actually cared about his property and tennants this has come as a shock never again . Stay clear ! Wish I had read reviews earlier !

I have had the pleasure of renting several properties over many years, all let and managed by Belvoir Harrogate. I cannot praise them highly enough. Superb support if things go wrong, excellent communication when queries are raised and although they are very professional in all their dealings with me, they have also been friendly. The team seem to have all been there a long time, which says a great deal about the company, and it is good to know who I am talking to, and they also know me. When I want to live somewhere else, they have always promptly found me the right property and made moving as simple as possible. From a customer experience point of view, they get 10 out of 10.

I was looking for a rental property in Harrogate. I found one which looked promising, arranged a viewing. Had a very quick look round as there was someone else booked in to view at the same time. I did not feel rushed at all even though someone else was waiting to view. After I decided to rent the property I found the staff at the Harrogate office (especially Gemma) to be very helpful and extremely pleasant and entirely professional. I move in next Monday after a very unharrassed (?) experience.
