I’m Mark, the owner of EweMove Harrogate, Knaresborough & Wetherby. After many years of buying, selling, and renting properties across the country, it was clear to me that there was a far better way to engage with customers and manage the process of selling and renting. We began renting with Ewemove recently (with Mark as our representative), and so far we have had a very good experience. I appreciate Mark's attitude: he really appears to enjoy his job and be proud of what he's achieved. And that has translated into service quality for us. He's acted promptly when problems have come up. I think that as an agent he cares as much about his relationship with his tenants as with his landlords. Related to this, we have liked the contractors Ewemove uses: namely Sid, and also Sam from McGlashan Heating & Plumbing: quality and nice to deal with. We feel in good hands with them. Last but not least, I found it refreshing that Mark told us, as I understood it, that he valued quality over quantity for his business: that he didn't envisage growing beyond a certain size because if they did, they wouldn't be able to offer the same level of service. Unusual to hear from any business nowadays.

GoogleI thoroughly recommend Chris and Mark if you are looking to sell your house. They both bring lots of experience which helps with marketing your property and also smoothing the sale process. Communication was easy and unlike bigger companies you were always speaking directly to someone who knew your property and sale well. With their help I had accepted an offer for the asking price within a week of advertising the property.

Compared to other agencies, EweMove stood out to us due to its flexible and personal approach. We appreciated the option to view properties and move in on a Saturday, as well as the longer viewing process, which allowed us to look at the property in more detail and ask questions. We have dealt with Mark, who is very professional, knowledgeable and always eager to respond to all our questions. When we moved into our new accommodation, there were some problems on the first day but Mark went the extra mile to resolve them on the same day even though it was a Saturday. EweMove does not simply act as an agency that wants to complete the rent and then disappear, but rather as one that is always at hand to help!

GoogleFantastic support from the very first viewing to getting the keys. Chris really helped navigate this first home purchase for our son. He went above and beyond to help with dealing with the solicitors to ensure the purchase went through before Christmas. He was brilliant at keeping in touch and this was really important to us throughout the process. We would highly recommend Chris and EweMove.

GoogleMy partner and I have been looking to move house and met Mark Davis at a viewing recently. We were extremely impressed at how helpful and knowledgeable he was. He shared a lot of really useful information about tenancy laws and regulations, and gave us a lot of advice for things to look out for. Although we ultimately decided not to apply for that particular property, he was so respectful, friendly and helpful throughout and helped to answer our (many!) questions. We are still looking out for properties and getting to meet and speaking with Mark has convinced us that when it is time to move, we'll want to work with Mark and EweMove! Going from a flat to a detached house was challenging in the differences that the situation presented but Mark explained everything to us in detail, sometimes several times, and that made the move so much easier!
