Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Based on my experience, I would advise new landlords to be extremely cautious with Foxtons. The agent’s explanations of commission and contract terms were unclear, and I ended up in a lengthy dispute over unexpected fees. Which is escalated to ombudsman and will probaly go to the court. Never trust a word of Foxton's agents. Always insist on written communication and carefully review all documents before signing. I would not recommend Foxtons to others based on my experience.

He was very honest from the start and told me about the property's circumstances (I cannot give more details). Our agent Lukas really went above and beyond in helping us to secure our property, suggesting properties to me that I might like to view. He even dropped me off when I injured my ankle during a viewing! During the referencing process Lukas was always on hand to answer questions and concerns via WhatsApp, often answering promptly even later in the evening which I really appreciated! Everything went very smoothly and Lukas was quick to provide the information we needed. Working with him was a real breath of fresh air compared to other frustrating experiences with agents I've had in the past!

As the owner of a flat

As the owner of a flat, I struggled for months to find tenants.
