I hereby wish to edit my review with ''complete dissatisfaction'' of the experience I had with Dexters, As an estate agent myself for over 20 years, I found the methods and ethics used by Jamil in person and Dexters as a company totally unprofessional. We have been led to believe that our potential seller was a ''motivated seller'' from the beginning and turned out to be otherwise. We have made an offer of an asking price for the property in concern and conveyed our intention to proceed as cash buyers. However, it took us only 6 weeks after our offer was accepted to see the property for the 2nd time! It was rather kind of Jamil of Dexters and the seller to accommodate us! Not! The rest of the turning out events were; that we were the ones chasing Jamil about the current circumstances of the seller party and the constant stock-up response from Jamil was '' You have to wait''. Then we found the seller was in a chain, her buyer was on a chain and this chain was as long as the H2 link! Not only were our 4 months + wasted let alone the stress and additional finances that were spent on short-term accommodation and travel costs. Only then after sending a strongly-lettered complaint about our experience to Marlon, Jamil's supervisor explaining our circumstances of waiting almost 6 months, which will place us in a jeopardy to lose our mortgage offer and Jamil's response was '' But you mean you will not be able to extend your mortgage offer!'' since this was the last straw in our declining relationship with Jamil and Dexters. Hearing this comment and the audacity of his attitude was the breaking point for us. Yes Marlon has managed to turn things around to suggest our deadline date of completion on the 15th of September 2023 the day our mortgage offer would expire, however, it was too little too late and not only we lost all our desire for the property on offer and having to feel that we will be remunerating this particular seller who has been selfishly looking after their interest only. Since then we found a much more straightforward deal and moved into another property with no issues or hiccups. It was not certainly what we hoped but we are much more happier with our decision to pull out of the deal with Dexters after all! The most awful experience in our lives and I wouldn't wish it for anyone else to experience it. I would not recommend Dexters as an organization to anyone.

I live in Finland and had been tasked with selling my sisters apartment in Muswell Hill. Not knowing the area I had to conduct research with due diligence to establish the right estate agent. Following my first meeting with their manager, I gained an immediate confidence that I had chosen wisely. I quickly received an offer of the asking price, which I accepted. I can quite candidly state that the service I received from their staff and in particular Jamil was first class. His communication skills were both efficient and transparent. I have no hesitation in recommending Dexters.

I recently worked with Jack and Marlon at Dexters on a house purchase and was SO impressed with their service. Both of them, as well as the broader team at the office, went above and beyond in answering our questions, coordinating with all parties involved, providing us with regular updates and generally pushing our process along. We hit a few bumps along the way and, each time, they leaned in even harder to help. Jed Nolan, one of the best estate agents I've had the pleasure of knowing! He was thorough and professional and great to work with. Repair of Side Gate

During the repair process of a side gate, Idis Plaatjies at Dexter was very helpful in calling me to keeping me update throughout the whole process from start to finish. This included making sure I was happy with the finished replaces from repair contractor Mr Totman who did a brilliant job restoring the side gate and gave advice to maintain it. Danilo - 5 stars for you!

The performance of any company is defined by the performance of their employees. I didn't have great experience with Dexters to be honest initially. But since Danilo has become the property manager, everything is super smooth. Danilo is extremely professional, polite and considerate towards tenant's needs. So prompt in responding to emails and not missing any point. His communications skills are great plus he is easily approchable. He makes sure that your issues/questions are resolved and follows up on it. He is honestly the best broker I have ever dealt with. The management of my flat was recently taken over by Dexters. I have been so impressed! Rachel Deacon-Holmes is my property manager and she has exceeded my expectations. My flat had not been properly managed previously and she had to quickly sort out some serious water damage. There have been a lot of other issues and both Rachel and Tom Bussman have been absolutely superb in assisting me in dealing with some overwhelming refurb works in order to bring my flat up to a particular standard. They have both responded promptly and given me honest advice in terms of getting and making the most of my flat. They have both been handed a tricky situation to sort out and they are doing it professionally and responsibly. for now it is still in the process of being done. Jessica-Joy has recently taken over coordination for my tenancy. I noticed a number of items in my rental either broken or malfunctioning because of aged appliances or routine wear and tear related breakdown.Jessica promptly arranged a site visit and verified details herself and wrote a comprehensive report to the landlord, which has resulted in the landlord successfully agreeing to fix a number of items on this list. I just want to thank Jessica Joy from Property Management Team. I am new to this city and rent my current apartment through a Dexter agent. However, I found there was no hot water for shower. Thanks for Jessica's timely services, my family could finally enjoy hot-water shower without boiling water myself after 2 weeks. Other than that, she also helped out on my other issues, like getting the parking license. I could totally feel her urgency of getting things done. Honestly I could write all day about how amazing the whole sales team at Dexter’s have been with our sale. But I have to call out Jack and Marlon especially for helping to get our sale through. From my first meeting with Marlon I knew we’d be in good hands and then Jack pushing through our sale, constantly being at the end of the phone when i was getting over whelmed with all the details. Taking the stress off my hands and when Jack says “don’t worry leave it with me”, I knew I could.
