I engaged McHugh Estate Agency to sell my mother’s house. And an excellent decision it was. From the initial phone call to the production and presentation of the brochure, the viewings and finally the handing over of the keys, the service was friendly and extremely professional. Throughout, communication was as you would expect from a highly motivated, efficient team. This was reassuring. A particular strength (and real bonus for their clients) was their comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of the local, housing market. Homework definitely done. It probably accounts for the house being sold within ten days. Therefore, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending McHugh Estate Agency. All that remains is to thank all of them for the care and consideration taken in selling our family home.

Prior to choosing McHugh Estate Agents to sell the property, I approached a total of five estate agents for a valuation. I chose McHugh Estate Agents as not only was the valuation undertaken quickly, but I was phoned with the valuation result. I felt very comfortable during the phone call and there was no pressure put on me to choose McHugh Estate Agents. McHugh Estate Agents responded to all questions to enable me to make an informed decision on which estate agents to choose. I was supported throughout the entire process, including appointing a surveyor. The photographs and video taken for the house, supported by the description of the property were excellent, and allowed potential purchasers to virtually 'view' the property. Within hours of the property going live on McHugh Estate Agents website, which is user friendly and easy to navigate, appointments were already being booked for actual physical views of the property. I was supported during the process of offers being made on the property, and within six days of going live, the property was sold achieving the selling price identified in the survey. McHugh Estate Agents even took a final meter reading and collected mail for me, prior to the new owners moving in, as I was unable to do this due to the Covid-19 lockdown. I genuinely feel that the service provided went above and beyond what I expected and have thanked the whole team for their support and professionalism while selling the property.
