TrustpilotMy advice would be do not purchase from Anwyl Homes
We purchased our home from Anwyl Homes as we liked the design and location of the property at the Haygate Fields site. Unfortunately the experience, after David, the site sales advisor, left was all down hill. Our property was the very last to be completed by AH and the word completed I use very loosely! We employed a professional snagger and he produced a 34 page (A4) list of defects and very poor standard of workmanship. Two years down the road and we are still waiting for some of these snagging items to be rectified. They had to replace the stairs and landing carpet, as the bannister was fitted incorrectly and replaced the carpet with a different shade of grey, which doesn’t match the bedrooms and are refusing to replace with the correct colour. Still outstanding is decorating in bedroom 2 en-suite where the shower tray and tiles were replaced due to defects. The seal to the floor of the electric garage door has been replaced twice but still leaks. The cloakroom toilet isn’t level and is out by 15mm. This is just a few items which have yet to be completed but it’s been a total battle to get work completed and the after sales department are rude and do not reply to emails in a timely manner, which is no surprise as they obviously receive several complaints.

Hi Jules, we are really sorry to read your review, our Customer Service team will always reply to emails within the published timescales, currently 10 working days for non-emergencies, however they have worked in between Christmas and New Year so are responding quicker than that. Garages are non-habitable areas so some wind-blown rain under the door can happen from time to time, for anything else please do get in touch with Customer Services and they will be happy to get any remaining issues completed for you as soon as they can.

Have recently completed purchase of a bungalow at the Holmes Chapel site. Has been a wonderful experience. Gyllian in the sales team was extremely helpful, positive and friendly throughout the process. Andy on-site could not have been more helpful, nothing has been too much trouble and has ensured the bungalow has been handed over to the highest spec. All snagging work has done very promptly and the place looks perfect. A very friendly and professional guy who has made what can be a stressful process extremely easy.From start to finish the experience with all staff has been fantastic. Could not be more happy with the property and the people involved, from start to finish, have made the process stress free and provided me the perfect home.

First time purchasing new home. Not a good experience. More remedial work to do than we had on our old house. Poor handover with no care or cleaning, poor pointing to brickwork, and general lack of care and attention by trades. Ability to clear snag list very poor. Would suggest buyers have a snag list retention with solicitors which would speed up remedial work. Good design house let down by poor trades and poor customer service.

Moved in to my first home as a single dad at 20 and they’ve been extremely helpful in the whole process, area is nice good people from workers to neighbours. Ian (the site manager) always checks up to see how everything’s going and if there’s any issues. When issues are reported it’s generally been sorted within a week. Highly rate my experience would buy through them again!!

We recently moved into a property at Winnington Place.Kelly and Marie have been brilliant with the whole process. Especially, they have been very accommodating by arranging meetings to happen in-person as well as on Microsoft Teams, as one of us lived quite far away making it quite difficult to keep coming up for the meetings!Keith and Scott have been very helpful in fixing stuff around the house. Just two things to mention...1. They took quite a while to come to get the stuff fixed (sometimes, not coming on the day they said they would and coming a day/week later). We completely understand that they are quite busy, but we would have appreciated it if they could let us know in advance so that we don't have to wait around all day!2. We were quite startled when the builders walked into our garden without any prior warning. Again, we understand that they need to do work around the property, but we would have appreciated it if they could have warned us in advance.Even without putting the heating on all day long, the house kept warm through sub-zero temperature. We are really loving our house!

Absolutely brilliant experience/customer service from Anwyl. I simply can’t fault them and find it hard to believe some of the negative reviews. From initially buying the property with Kelly and Maria from the sales team, who may I add are an absolute credit to Anwyl homes to moving in and working with the site managers Scott and Keith. Everything ran like clockwork, very few minor snags and I’m writing this review after living in the property for over eight weeks! The snags I did find were very quickly resolved by the friendly and super helpful site managers, who always ask when they see me about the site if everything is ok. After buying a new build in the past with a different developer and having a difficult experience, I was apprehensive, but I needn’t worry. Brilliant team at Winnington Place, houses are still buying built and those looking I can’t recommend enough!

They take so much pride in their work and want it to be right for them as much as they want it to be right for you, they’re super friendly and despite us buying our house through a housing group so they didn’t even need to make an effort - they went the extra mile and made the whole experience great. Truly amazing team!

We recently purchased a new Betws model home from Anwyl Homes. The customer service we have received for their sales team has been absolutely phenomenal from day 1. From showing patience with issues we had in our chain to their sales manager Tom helping us lift and move furniture from our old house to our new one, I could not recommend them enough. The build quality of the house is stunning and the attention to detail is obvious. The post purchase care you receive from them is like nothing I’d ever heard of for new build estates. All in all, I'm very happy with my Victoria Mills home. A fair few snags were identified shortly after moving in in August 2023 but these have largely been addressed, and done so quickly. My customer journey has been up and down (the only reason for not giving 5 stars) but I will say that Isaac and Andy on site have been very responsive and helpful when I've needed them, and very friendly.

Our experience purchasing a new home on The Fairways estate in Handforth with Anywl Homes has been excellent. The sales team (Helen, Sarah, Lauren) did a great job walking us through the whole buying process, clearly explaining all the options and diagrams and patiently helped with all our questions. The finished build was precisely as we specified it, everything in place and completed to an extremely high quality. We commissioned a professional snagging report and it showed up very few issues indeed, which we went through with Gaz and Joe. After that Joe provided a superb service helping resolve the main issues of concern and going out of his way to work around our availability. With everything now completed and having been in the home for around 3 months, we couldn't be happier with our choice and the service from Anwyl Homes. Thank you all!
