Excellent communication and progression service instrumental in ensuring we secured our forever home

From viewing our first house, to finding our forever home, John knew exactly what we were looking for. He did a great job communicating with us and the vendors and we always knew where we stood throughout the process. The team at Winkworth work as one, as demonstrated by Guy who was the one who communicated our offer to the vendors in John’s absence. During the conveyancing process, the team excelled at liaising with all parties in the chain and Guy was instrumental in ensuring successful completion before Christmas. We would not hesitate to use Winkworth in the future, their service stood out compared to other estate agents we have dealt with.

John and Guy were really so helpful to me as a first time buyer, organising multiple viewings for me at the flat, helping me to measure walls, answering all my many emails, chasing for updates from solicitors, and being so helpful when the solicitors went radio silent on the days leading up to exchange. Her positive and realistic approach was so refreshing. Her professionalism was very reassuring that my property was in the right hands, and would be sold with integrity. Faith’s knowledge of the business and her advice provided me with confidence. I followed her advice and was extremely happy with everything I was advised to do, and with everything Faith planned in order to sell the property. Equally her team members, especially Lilly De Bie, handled all the communication and queries with ease and a quiet confidence. I was kept up to-date throughout the entire process, without her being intrusive. Both Faith and Lilly’s coordination of the sale, exchange and completion took away any concern or worry I may have had. I am a landlord in the Willesden Green area many years and would like to give a positive review of the superb service I receive from the Winkworth. The team in the Kensal Rise and Queens Park office are always extremely supportive and always on hand to provide guidance especially with the current changes in the private rental sector. This service extends to dealing with any maintenance issues, prompt statement sending and tenant changeover, so basically the whole package for a landlord. Avoid this agency if you value your…

Avoid this agency if you value your deposit. The end-of-tenancy process was is a nightmare. They submitted a fraudulent invoice as evidence in a TDS deposit dispute. I contacted the company named on the invoice directly and they confirmed in writing they had never attended the property and the invoice number belonged to a completely different property for a job dated 7 months ago. I reported them for fraud.

NO ELECTRICITY FOR 3 DAYS

I am extremely disappointed with my experience renting through Winkworth. When I moved into my new flat, the agent failed to provide me with the gas card/key. I moved here from the US so I did not know that was something that I needed. As a result, my electricity was cut off for almost three days during my very first weekend in the property. I had no light, no heating, and no hot water for close to 72 hours.
