The sales side of Dexters is 5 star plus, in my point of view.

As a Landlord whose property Dexters has managed for many years, I am on the whole satisfied. The sales side of Dexters is 5 star plus, in my point of view. Zahra, who I deal with, is early on the case at the end of each tenancy and works flat out to find the best tenant for me. She gives very good advice but also listens to my requirements as a client. What lets Dexters down a little, for me, is its property management team. They operate a sort of pool system, which gives me the feeling that no one is taking personal responsibility. Often when I call the office I find I directed to someone new who I have not spoken to before. Quite often important pieces of information have been left off my file by the previous colleague. In addition, some of the staff seem inexperienced in the maintenance issues which they are handling. It would be good if I was kept updated on who my personal contact was at any point in time.

I have rented with and then purchased a flat with Dexter West Kensington Branch. Senior Consultant Oliver Boldero helped me viewing and liasing with the seller with the highest professionalism, very efficient and high degree of transparency. He is a very strigent man and completed all he has promised to do in an effective manner. Sales Manager Avni Patel helped me with the conveyancing process. We encoutered some difficulties as expected from every pruchase, but thanks to her help, everything worked out smoothly at the end. I did use the financial broker as well as conveyancing agency recommanded by Dexter West Kensington, and the experience has also been highly professional. I recommand using Dexter West Kensington as your estate agency when selling and buying properties in the area. Again, Oliver and Avni have left me with very impressed experience and I highly appreciated all the helped they offered to me; since I recommand everyone needs the service to contact Dexter West Kensington.

I’ve lived at a rented property managed by Dexters for nearly 3 years and was taken aback by Dexters’ lack of responsiveness and professionalism (tenancy manager “in charge” was Luci Mendonca). To illustrate, they’ve repeatedly delayed necessary repairs (e.g. sealed windows that wouldn’t open), refused to address issues with mould growing on the bedroom walls, and withheld deposit return as an irresponsible flatmate put off paying the utility bills. What made matters even worse is when they nonchalantly turned a blind eye to an aggressive tenant who would yell and intimidate other flatmates - instead of issuing a warning to him, they completely ignored the problem. I’d strongly advise against renting though them, it’s not worth it.
