Finally fix after 2 weeks of no "hot water"

I just want to thank Jessica Joy from Property Management Team. I am new to this city and rent my current apartment through a Dexter agent. However, I found there was no hot water for shower. Thanks for Jessica's timely services, my family could finally enjoy hot-water shower without boiling water myself after 2 weeks. Other than that, she also helped out on my other issues, like getting the parking license. I could totally feel her urgency of getting things done. Every time I told her about an issue, she would be able to give me a call back the day after to update me the progress and status. This is so impressive.

I personally want to share my experience with Rico, one of the Dexters agents. Not only was he kind and fast when it came to problem solving some of the challenges I’d faced (such as having to move out before contract ended), he’s very communicative about the process which never left me with any concerns or confusions as legal things tend to do when you’re from abroad. If you ever need a rental property in Fulham, ask for Rico to be your agent because he’s the man. He deserves a bonus for the incredible service he provides. Not a glaze, I always give credit where it’s due.

Always ask for Nadia, she’s a star.

Always ask for Nadia, words cannot describe her tenacity in securing your dream property. After having to deal with a bunch of bumbling agents for months on end and getting nowhere, dealing with Nadia was a breath of fresh air. She was on the ball from day 1, she literally got me, the perfect flat in 3 days of our first conversation. 10 min walk from bank station, unheard off. She’s absolutely brilliant. She even put in so much time after hours to make sure things run smoothly, she was unbelievably helpful, charismatic, and just genuinely stunning all round. Definitely recommend.

Waste of Time

I was looking for a flat to rent through Dexter. Even the agent has already got my account number for holding deposit and asked me to fill out an application, they still arrange viewings and turn the offer into a game of blind bidding. Unless you have endless time and unlimited budget, property search with Dexter is a waste if time.

We rented through Dexters Fulham for two years. They barely answer the phone, never answer emails unless you’ve chased several times. When we tried to set up a new property search for our move we received hundreds of calls from various negotiators where it was clear they had not communicated amongst themselves and were simply hounding us with no real knowledge of the market or what was available within their areas. I hope we never have to deal with them again.

The overall experience is not good

The overall experience of dealing with Dexters estate agents is not very pleasant. I was looking for a new apartment to rent and after viewing the property sent in my offer on the apartment. First of all, I do not understand why they need my card details straight away - even when there is no certainty about which of the offers the landlord would choose. In my experience, it is not needed when dealing with other estate agents, up until the point your offer is accepted. What is more, I was not very pleased to receive phone calls asking whether I would want to offer more money for the property and confirming whether my reply is indeed "my best and final offer". Thirdly, never hearing back from the agents as to the landlords decision and just having to guess that since no one had bothered reaching out it meant I did not get the apartment. Overall experience is quite poor. There is definitely a sense of them trying to get the most out of you and not bothering to provide good service.Now that I have guessed that my offer was not successful, I am even more unhappy about the fact that they still keep my card details for no reason whatsoever.
