The worst agency we have ever came across. Each time we call them, they tell us a property has already been let (a week ago, few days ago etc). When questioned how is that possible as the advert has only came out they respond it was let off the market- why put the add on the website then? Absolute waste of time, every single time.

GoogleIt’s the worst experience I ever had. I being landlord for 15 years and never came across such dishonest and disrespectful agency. They rented my property without showing it to tenant and didn’t tell me about it. Further they didn’t obtain funds from tenant and told me that they did. Additionally they misrepresented property to tenant, who was also unhappy. They became very rude and unhelpful as soon I signed contract, negotiator told it’s not her business any more and put the phone down. I made several complaints, including to head office however none of them was responded. Further they contacted me asking to give them property again, promising that different person will deal with it. However after few weeks I found out it’s was removed from the market without my knowledge. When I ask why, they told me because of previous issue. So they decide to victimise me for complaining. Just want to say thank to this agency for stopping dealing with my property, nothing good will come out from such service! Ovoid them at any cost!

Totally unprofessional service form lettings and property management team in SW13 area. Outstanding repairs and maintenance in the flat since move-in date 5 weeks ago as well as work not being done albeit promised before moving in and also listed in the contract. Too many people involved and no-one is owning up, taking responsibility.

We understand your concerns and want to assure you that we’ve been actively working to address the issues raised.After your move-in on 11th January, we promptly addressed the concerns you raised on the 15th January and instructed our contractor, CPS, to provide a quote on 17th January. CPS arranged a visit with you for 21st January. We received their quote the next day which was immediately forwarded to the landlord for approval. Unfortunately, there was a delay in receiving a response from the landlord, and we continued to follow up. We are pleased to confirm that minor repairs were completed by an engineer on 14th February, and the remaining repairs are scheduled to be completed today. We have kept you updated throughout this process and will continue to do so until all outstanding issues are resolved. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience, as we work to ensure everything is completed to a high standard. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further concerns.

It seems my reveiw was deleted, so here I am writing it again, if this gets deleted know that Chestertons lie a lot of rating so they are willing to hide poor ratings.So I have been a long term let with Chestertons, it seems when it comes to renewal, the only thing that matters is landlords. When they onboarded me they did an excellent spotless service, however the same can’t be said about the extension. So much delays, stress and deliberate dirty tactics so you give up on renewing and instead you move elsewhere so the landlords/agency can increase rent. To give further perspective, they booked an end of tenancy audit date on the last date of my tenancy and I was told to pay for that date because according to their accounts I overstayed despite my contracts and rent ending on 27th.So they changed me for that too, then when it comes to deposit, they will do everything to delay, discourage you. So you give up. I’m really sick of this behaviour, very inappropriate and I DO NOT recommend renting as tenants with Chestertons teams.Either, they think they are smarter than everyone in the room by playing psychological moves or I’m really dumb. It’s definitely not me being dumb though.

As a tenant, I like the smart online system which Chestertons use. it is very convenient and efficient. In addition, their services are also very caring. They will remind you to check the heating works before winter arrives. My manager is Mark, and he will always respond as soon as possible when I am at a loss and have urgent with my property issues. I sincerely thankful, a trustworthy partner for both tenants and landlords. Wish Chestertons all the best.
