All the staff at Ryder & Dutton - Matt, Ella, Oliver and Fleur have been amazing in supporting with my house sale from start to finish. I chose Ryder & Dutton as they had a great sales package, realistic valuation, genuine sales staff, an out of hours contact and were not pushy for the contract like other estate agents who constantly hounded me. If the phone lines were busy you were put through to their support line who were able to access your file and give advice and also contact your designated sales advisor to contact you. Ella was my designated sales advisor (Halifax - Sowerby Bridge Branch), she was friendly and reliable, dealt with my house sale and regularly kept me up to date throughout my sales progress. I would highly recommend Ella and a big thank you to all the team.

Super helpful

As first time buyers we found Ryder and Dutton super helpful from the very start of the process. From originally arranging viewings to helping with the steps of placing and offer and securing a mortgage. We have dealt with Lacey throughout and she has been so helpful and efficient with everything, chasing solicitors, sellers and answering any questions we have. We would definitely recommend especially as a first time buyer.

I was interested in a house being…

I was interested in a house being advertised by Ryder & Dutton in Rochdale. Their manager Tom Prince was a like a bully. He wouldn't let me talk to his staff Naveen who was corresponding with me on the email. Tom refused to accept any offers from me on the house and directed his staff the same. I ended up getting my offer accepted and buying the house through other channels. White goods were included in the price but inspite of microwave oven being in the list, conveniently went missing. Bad service

A terrific team ! Why did we choose them? We arranged four estate agents to visit our property, Matt shone. He made us feel he cared about our property and the service we should expect. The honesty, professionalism and the confidence that he demonstrated reassured us and we were not disappointed. The whole team are a reflection of his management. Oli, Fleur and especially Ella our contact were fabulous! never needed to chase her always kept us up to date and well informed . We felt supported throughout the process which was not always straight forward and had at times challenges to navigate. We never doubted we had made the best choice and the outcome was confirmation. The sale of my late Mother's house.

The sale of my late Mother's house has finally completed after 18 months, during which period I had 2 time wasters that prolonged the selling of the property. Geraldine Marsden was my Move Manager throughout the whole time. Geraldine was brilliant throughout keeping informed at every stage of the process and chasing everyone that needed chasing. I'm sure It was as frustrating for Geraldine when the 2 previous sales fell through as for myself. But eventually the sale completed. I cannot thank Geraldine enough for the time and effort she put in throughout the whole sales process. First class service.

Conveyancer and Agent Relationships can speed a transaction

As a Conveyancer I find that the relationship between estate agent and legal representatives can massively impact the speed and stress level of a transaction. Having recently concluded a transaction with Ada Grundy as the nominated sales progressor, I am even more convinced this is the case. Ada was beyond helpful, always willing to help with any chasing or liaising directly between buyer and seller (which as a Conveyancer I'm not allowed to do). She was funny and kind and understanding.
