After relocating to the USA in 2020, this year we decided we needed to sell our family home of 15 years. Unable to travel we conducting this process from 4000 miles away and the Charnock Bates team couldn't have been more helpful in supporting us through the process. The house sold within 2 days and Gill Bateson has been fantastic in helping to ensure that the completion process has gone without any issues or unnecessary stress. In particular Gill did a great job in keeping both the buy and seller fully up to speed and in the loop throughout. We used Charnock Bates for the sale of our house. We cannot fault them. The sale was during a particularly busy time for house sales due to covid and stamp duty reductions. The team at Charnock Bates and in particular Holly and Lisa were amazing. They kept us informed throughout the whole process and always returned calls. Towards the end of of sale there were delays due to searches taking a long time and other such things. Lisa was truly amazing she was efficient, professional and honest. Everyone we dealt with at Charnock Bates was extremely professional and knowledgeable. From valuation, through marketing and then sales progression, each member of the team dealt with their part of the sales process efficiently and effectively and kept us informed every step of the way. If the person that you were dealing with was unavailable for any reason then there was always someone there to pass a message on and if your contact was on leave there was someone else in place who knew what was happening - communication is excellent. I highly recommend them and we will certainly be using them next time .... and yes, all of the glowing comments written in these reviews about Gill are spot on.
