Throughout my stay, most of my complaints were ignored till the end of my tenancy, it was left unsolved.Had issues regarding refund of deposit, claims without evidence were made during check-out to attempt to deduct my deposit. This is an unprofessional practice. Some of the issues during check-out had been complained by me when I moved in, but it was ignored. However, for the same issues I raised that were left unsolved, they want to deduct my deposit to solve it for the next tenant. It was totally unreasonable when it was never solved for me in the first place. This caused a huge delay in refunding that took us few months after I moved out.

I was delighted with the professionalism, knowledge and personal attention to my house sale managed by Tom and Vicki at the Hale branch. Besides achieving a quick sale above market value and managing the subsequent process, Tom and Vicki also liaised with other agents and solicitors on my behalf to help me secure my onward home. Both the time to respond to messages and also take any necessary action were beyond expectation. I have great confidence in recommending Tom and Vicki.

GoogleDisgusted to hear that a tenant had to pay a month's rent in their property, even though they were unable to move into the property for a month. How can forcing tenants to commute from another city for a month and making them lose income because of this be considered acceptable? Now under the lockdown, they're being treated like second class citizens because they had been furloughed, and were unable to pay their full rent. It has been government guidance that estate agents and landlords work with tenants to help during the lockdown, and this is how Jordan Fishwick treat their tenants? On top of this they were given their gas safety inspection 2 months late, which is completely illegal showing you just how inept they can be.

JF we’re supposed to market our house for sale. They showed people round when we weren’t there (which was fine) but failed to remember where the keys for the back door were to show people to garden. Needless to say, it didn’t sell. Oh, and they tried to sell it to a disability charity. A house with stairs. And no room for a lift. They then rented it to a guy (who was apparently a friend of theirs) who didn’t pay the rent, who blocked the drains, who beat up his partner causing the police to come round, and who caused a leak that wrecked the wooden floor. They also didn’t check the house when he was there so missed the dog living there.

This company is quite frankly shockingly awful. Right from the start of the rent period, when furniture that was due to be removed wasn't and the house was filthy, to the end when they tried to keep my deposit and disputed for over 3 month. Now when go legal with the TDS Tenancy Deposit Scheme, is over 3 months so cant get my money back - they knew this from the beginning. This firm is one on the worst I have ever dealt with. They have no customer care ethic at all. Indeed their attitude is so bad would make a perect comedy sketch. I would avoid at all costs.

Absolute nightmare of a letting agency! Do not ever rent from them!! When we moved from America to England we were told by JF the home had been “cleaned”. We opened the door and you would have though they were filming an episode of Breaking Bad in the home!! It was like squatters we’re living there. Food all over kitchen cabinets, broken glass everywhere. Trash all in garage and paint cans left. Over the 7 years we had no heat for weeks at a time no hot water. Basically JF never responded quickly and the home owner didn’t respond quickly at all to urgent repairs. I would never list a home for sale or rent from Jordan Fishwick. We must have gone through 20 different property managers during 7 years!!! What does that say! Such a terrible overall experience and now they have home listed to rent again after we were told homeowner was selling the home! Slimy people!!! 😡😡

What would we like from an Estate Agent when selling or buying a property? - An extensive and accurate knowledge of properties, prices and current market conditions in the local area. - Enthusiasm for your property. - Speedy and efficient service to get your house on the market and sell your home. - Proactive marketing and selling, promoting, and exhibiting knowledge of, your property to prospective purchasers. - To be kept in the loop, allowing oversight of selling details, launch, prospective viewings, immediate alerts to offers etc. - Accompanied viewings by trustworthy people who have a good knowledge of your home and can respond to most viewers questions straight away. - Being able to contact people in the office easily and/or have them call you straight back - AND for prospective buyers to be able to receive the same prompt response to any enquiries. - Pleasant, likeable, honest people, for you and your prospective buyer to deal with. - All at a more than fair fee. Tom Beevers, Vicki and the rest of the team at Jordan Fishwick Hale, gave me all of this and more. My property sold within a week of the launch, for well over the asking price. I cannot recommend these guys enough!

Compared with a number of other agencies we have rented with prior to and since renting with Jordan Fishwick, they are the only ones we have known to charge annual renewal fees (well over £100), made us wait up to three months before attending to necessary repairs (we went from March to June without a kitchen ceiling after it collapsed due to poor grouting in the bathroom) and stung us on our deposit (we were deducted due to their builders failing to remove bags of plaster from the garden, despite requests from us for them to remove it). We paid everything on time and kept the property in immaculate condition, ensuring we notified the agency immediately of any repairs that were required and were therefore shocked at being treated with such a lack of professionalism. Thankfully, we have since purchased a property through an excellent agency and do not have to rent and go through this again.
