GoogleIf you are looking for a rental property then I could not recommend Walton and Hipkiss any higher! So often as a tenant you can feel marginalised and like a second class citizen. All of the staff at W&H go out of their way to make sure this is not the case. They actively listen and make sure you are looked after as a tenant to the very best of their ability. GoogleMy boyfriend and I were very disappointed with our viewing and the subsequent lack of response from the estate agent. Firstly, the agent was late to the viewing, (she told us she was at Wetherspoons the night before) and struggled to get the key into the door, or find the right key. After leaving us to our own devices (no fault of her own, due to Covid) she asked us to leave a review for her if we liked the property. We loved the property, applied, and heard nothing back for over a week. We emailed to check if we were successful or not, and received no reply. We rang to ask and were told the agent had gone on holiday and hadn't passed the case on to anyone else. Really disappointed as it was a wonderful property, but the poor service and communication really let it down.

GoogleHad to sell my mother-in-laws house as she went into a care home. I live at the other end of the country, so needed an estate agent to manage everything without me being around. Janis at W&H managed everthing very smoothly and it was a very easy sale. She kept to her word about checking on the property, having cash buyers on her books and was endlesly patient and super efficient. Jeremy also sorted out a very stressful (for me) last minute hitch with a calm approach and knowledgable solution to sort it out. Can't recommend them enough.

GoogleHave received a first class service from both the residential sales department and residential lettings department over the last year. Having sold my home very quickly I decided to rent for a short period prior to retiring and then buy a property this Spring. When I accidentally locked myself out recently at 7.30pm mid week, Eleanor from the lettings dept thankfully came to my rescue knowing I live on my own. In no time at all and without any hesitation she kindly drove to my property with the spare key despite it being well “out of business hours”. Where else would you receive five star service like that !!

GoogleIt has been an upmost pleasure to work alongside those within the Letting and Sales Department of Walton and Hipkiss for the last 30 plus years. The standard of client service is both professional and personal attention to detail and communication is always offered to the highest standard. This in turn creates a greater professional working relationship between us here at James Developments and previously Whiteline Developments. In particular the relationship with Aimee, Corrine, Alice and Janice together with past employees who have since retired or moved employment has been superb and are people we would highly recommend in areas of Sale or Let of your Property. GoogleI currently rent a home that is let by W&H and have so far been very pleased to have them as our estate agent. The staff are super friendly. We usually have an agent called Aimee who responds to us if and when we have an issue, and she is always very responsive, polite and helpful. I would certainly recommend W&H if you are looking to rent a property.

GoogleWe have received brilliant service from Walton & Hipkiss, both when purchasing our property, and then from the lettings team when sourcing tenants. Eleanor managed to find tenants for all 3 apartments within a matter of days. Moreover, they are communicative and friendly, more so than the vast majority of their counterparts in the industry, and we would definitely recommend their services to others.
