Spencer De Jonge helped sell our flat and was excellent in managing our expectations. he was knowledgable and kept us up to date with potential buyers giving us feedback along the way. I can’t comment on the next stage as this is now being dealt with by a different team in Stirling Ackroyd but Spencer has set the bar high.

Really excellent outfit. We used SA for renting out a flat and they were all over it. Our liaison, Ghilles, was first class being both efficient and responsive. His market knowledge was excellent and we found (excellent) tenants within a day or two. Others there we have had to speak to have been super helpful too.A pleasant change to the sometimes tough process of dealing with agents. Would highly recommend.

Although it turns out the property I wanted to see was about to take final offers I wound still be happy to continue working with SA due to the excellent service i've received so far.

We chose Stirling Ackroyd to do a transfer of deed, it was a simple procedure, as we were told by them and would take about 3 weeks, however, 4 months on and several mess ups on there part, ie continuously sending the wrong paperwork through via email, they were very difficult to get hold of and never returned a call. We finally completed on 24th December. I would definitely avoid these at all costs, they were unreliable and made a simple job very stressful and I had to do a lot of the work that they should have been doing myself. They are a complete waste of time!!!!

Shortly after I requested a valuation, I spoke to a delightful young lady called Ellie about organising an appointment for my valuation, which has been agreed. She was professional, kind and understanding of my circumstances. I felt like I was just having a nice chat as she put me at ease immediately. One in a million. A definite asset to your business at Stirling Ackroyd.

This agent tried to steal money from us. Following the moving out inspection, they tried to take nearly £200 from us claiming that we did not resolve a pre-existing mould issue in 1 of the rooms.We informed them that when we moved in during the Summer the mould issue was already existing in the entire property, stated on the itinerary they provided. The agent we dealt with (Clive) ignored this document which Stirling Ackroyd provided, and still persisted. After we refused to accept the deduction, he called us at least twice a day seeming desperate. He then tried to negotiate a lower deduction which was very surprising, after days of harassment trying to get what he initially wanted.After we informed him we'd raised a dispute with the deposit protection scheme, he then removed the deduction for the mould issue. A show this letting agent is not trustworthy. Absolute crooks!

One of the worst customer experiences of my life. Was very hopeful thanks to some of their staff, however upon move in we were ignored constantly. Our Account manager was on leave for 4 months and neither their manager nor other staff answered our calls or emails regarding faulty property issues, dampness or help. Then they tried to charge us on check-out for things that were the same as in check-in. Worst communication I've ever had.

Fantastic work from Stirling Ackroyd today. I originally only knew about town ends estate agents (there sister company) but Freddie from the central team explained all about the merge of both companies to create Stirling Ackroyd as a whole and what the benefits would be if I was to start marketing my property. It really gave me that boost to get things moving and I couldn’t have picked a better estate agent to work with.

Even though the process took a long time due to other complications. We had a very good experience selling my houses with Simon, Alpha and Aron. They were always polite, funny have great personalities and thorough in dealing with our requests and buyers needs. I have used them in the past when I bought my first house 18 years ago, when they were call Townends and I would highly recommend them again going forward.

Do not use these for their conveyancing services. You cannot get in touch with them, they do not answer their phones or emails, nor do they provide you with basic updates. We had to speak to the senior partner of the firm to have the trainee solicitor taken off our case and reallocated. When it had been reallocated, the new trainee was just as bad. both trainees did not seem competent at their job and our estate agent had to give them basic guidance which they should have known. Even the senior partner did not respond to our emails or deal with our calls when we tried to go above the trainee. Further, the trainee left obtaining the funds from the bank until the very last minute therefore the rest of the chain could not complete on the day which had been proposed 4 weeks prior. We had previously sent them an official complaint letter in which our complaints were not answers effectively.
